About Sati's story

Dear friends,

I feel that Shiva and Sati should go to kailash, far far away from the world of Daksh's stupid rules , and enjoy some romantic moments together in Kailash .

I am tired of watching Daksh insulting Shiva everyday. I dont want Shiva to become ghar-jamai and stay in Daksh's bhavan. ...If they show the story like that , then that is 100 % wrong.


Because we all know the original story of Shiva & Sati . - Sati went to Kailash after marriage and Shiva showered so much love on her . Both of them were living very happily in kailash ...until one fateful day when sati's father Daksh arranged for a yagya in his palace , without inviting them ...and sati was very much grieved at heart , by the purposeful insult of her husband...She immediately approached Lord Shiva and asked his permission to go to her house...
Shiva warned her and also explained to her that - if she went to her father's place , she would only be insulted more ...bcoz daksha would never ever change ... BUt Sati was adament on going to her father's place. Sati said " I will go to my father's place and advice him to invite you (lord shiva) for the yagya with due respect and honour " ...

And Shiva loved Sati so much that he could not say no to her request ...Even though he knew what was going to happen with Sati, he couldn't stop her . It was just her fate ...and nobody could change it...

Finally not able to withstand the insult of her husband, Sati jumped in the yagya's fire and gave up her life to uphold the dignity of her husband...She was a true pati-wrata who loved her husband (Lord Shiva) very much .
