But one thing if possible please try to watch on some regional channels, all Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, any surf & check after 11.00pm they show all 12 jyotirlinga live. The best scene is I've seen a year before, is all 12 Jyotirlinga are shown being offered pooja in a single frame, it's an amazing sight. Only Kedarnath's temple is closed so they show the temple. Please see😊

yes Meenaxi I saw that too..all channels regional ones were showing superb poojas all over India..😍Lovely na😃

Aww you guys are so lucky...India mein celebrate kar rahe ho!

I got ready and did Shivji's pooja and then off to Uni and then work. I was fasting, but mainly just had water all day. My family had been to the mandir so they brought me back some prasaad and then we had our farariyo food (shout out to my fellow Gujji's!) 😆

Have to say one thing...even though it's Winter here, we had beautiful sunshine on the morning of MahaShivratri! I'm sure Mahadev is extremely happy at the effort and enthusiasm to which we celebrate his special day! 😃

And now I'm gonna try and stay up all night!

This is my first time visiting the forum, even though I regulary watch Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Todays episode really touched me, and thus, I decided to also join in here.
However, back to the topic...I dont live in India, but we had a holiday here, so as a family we kept a fast, woke up early, bathed, and visited the temple. In all, it was a day to remember Shiv in all our doings of the day. I also managed to watch some great pooja's on TV.
and not too forget it was a beautiful day, with sunshine though there is still snow on the ground.
Im also going to stay awake throughout the night :)

Shivraatri is the biggest fest for me..to all the Shiva bakht's for that matter.

I found a new spiritual awakening..never felt it before..for which i'm deeply indebted to Maahdev .

This time it was for Mahadev,i used to Fast before ..but that was more for ritual sake or for Var (boon)sake..this time it was just for Mahadev's sake...Considering Past year's experiences or spiritual thingie..i found this time i was much near the Supreme Lord-more spiritually awakened. For me Spiritual growth is not religious tolerance n trite stuff..that stage has passed..its now understanding the Shiva Tatv- To seek Shiva. To live Shiva !

You saw,😊 it gave such divine feeling. I saw Kedarnath Shivling for the first time. All these years they were showing only the outer part. Felt very happy. All other darshans were good too.

Sia, such good thoughts😊
On Mahashivratri day, the moment you get up in the mornig, can sense change in the vibrations. It's truly a blessed day. Lord Shiva truly gives what one wants. Knowing Shiv tatva is fantastic, along with that if you try to understand Shakti tatva, that feeling is amazing. Please try.😊

@Shakti Tatv ..would really be blessed to know that..but Since its just began i'll njoy the moment😳
Though it has come to me at very late stage..but then i'm grateful to what every is happening to me.
You know all these years it was he picture -the linga n the feeling i was talking to him..but now i feel Shiva is beyond that..And my want to know him has grown- the real essence of Shiva Tatv in life.
