I just managed to watch yesterday's episode and I am already waiting to watch today's episode. Meera reminded me of Bonnie Bennett from TVD. I think this is one of the best executions of a character who connects to the dead. I loved the final scene in which Meera lifts Dev.
Dev
This guy never fails to surprise me. I never expected him to be the stalker. He believes Meera is not lying and believes when she screams holding her head. But as a man of logic , his brain refuses to accept something which defies logic in his world.
Meera
She is my most favourite character in the world. She never justifies herself or her actions and lives by her own will. Since the day one when Dev was upset , screaming his lungs out in the middle of the night , Meera simply saw the footage and gave him the solution for it. Her son is her world and everything else is a step down. Meera is everything I want a lead character to be - strong , calm and willing to take on the world. I loved her in this episode especially when she calmly tells Dev this is her truth - her truth of being able to hear the dead. She called the call of the spirits - the logic of her world. The calm with which she speaks about it and the way she does not force or feel frustrated to accept her truth is a sign of maturity. (OH GOD ! I need to stop this Meera worship😛)
Narvekar
For once , he was sensible (did not jump into conclusions at once) and did his work well. Narvekar is a good police man - does his work well and capably enough, taking into account that he got to that shady place and saved the skins of the three.
Abdul
He is a sweetheart to be honest - the way he tells Dev that it is his job to think and Abdul would follow. It spoke volumes about this guy and where his loyalties lie. Meera had introduced him to Dev I believe if my memory serves me right and in such a short span of time , he has become a loyalist. I want to see more of him in the further cases.
With 12 episodes done (including today's episode) , I am already awaiting the flashback of Dev- Mehek , Meera's husband/Boyfriend , Zohra Apa , Swamiji ... and the list goes on and I know for sure there is a lot of material for the CVs to show for the remaining episodes (14 to precise) Way to go CVs !! Keep doing a good job !!
