This episode was just wow. It made us finally understand the characters a lot. Mahek is totally negative I guess and Dev doesn't seem to have killed her accidentally. Maybe he killed her in the heat of the moment.
I haven't watched Drishyam.. how do these two connect?😛

oh yes maybe he killed her in the heat of the moment.for dev justice is more important than anything else.he wasn't guilty when robin was shot.he kinda risked meera's life too in janvi missing case.so chances of being mahek's negative are more.
Drishyam is also a suspense thriller.ajay devgn (vijay) and his family is involved in a murder.Having predicted that the police would come calling eventually, Vijay coaches his family on how to face the interrogations without raising suspicions.Vijay produces bus tickets, movie tickets, lodging and restaurant bills as proof for the family's visit to Panaji. He wasn't in panji on 2nd of october but just like robin he met the bus driver and some other ppl and make sure that they testifies in his favor .while talking to them he repeats again and again that he went to panji on 2nd and returned next day.

This was by far the best episode yet. Yet this one episode glimpse into Dev's past is not enough! We need more!

What I liked (like you mentioned) was how the past was also connected by a case. And I was surprised to see that Mahek has some type of a mental disorder. But I loved how Dev handled it so smoothly. That's husband goals.

I have a feeling that Mahek being involved in Swami's murder is all a sham. It's just too convenient. Given that she and Dev met at an event of Swami's and that she conveniently called Narvekar before dying, it just seems to convenient. I feel like there may be something deeper to all this. Maybe I'm reading too much into the character or the scenes, but I have a feeling even her mental disorder bit is fake. She may be a hitman or a terrorist. And somehow Dev found out and that's what led him to kill her. Or maybe she pulled the trigger while they were fighting so that it would look like he killed her.

At first I felt Meera made a hasty decision and she should have demanded answers from Dev, but then I realized that would be out of character for her. She's an impulsive person and does what she feels is right. And for her leaving the house felt right and so she did it without thinking about the actual repercussions of that. I like that Zohra Appa put some sense into her here.

I can't wait to see how this plays out in the future and what the full past of Dev really is. I'm also curious to know more about Meera and whether she can actually hear aatmas or is this a mental disorder of hers.

Yeah! Another person who connected the Robin-Pandit scene to Drishyam. I couldn't help but draw parallels. It was so similar!
