"Are you there??" Urghh I need to stop thinking and say something.
"Yeah I am here" I said, offended obviously.
"You don't seem as if you are" he said in a as-a-matter-of-factly voice.
"I am!" I said, puncing the table as I did so.
"Cool down lady!" he said, shock in his face, but it was soon overtaken by the very famous smirk, "So why are you here?"
You would be thinking that I should not have been taken off gaurd by this question knowing that I had him here, but apparently I am. What should I say now?
"And here we go again! Is something wrong Manya?"

"I-I don't know... how to..." I just can't do this.
"Just Relax..." he said as he took a seat right infront of me. "If you are uncomfortable with opening up to me and here then we could go somewhere else."

"Lets get going then" he said as he got up.
"Where are we going?"
"Outside, there's a park not 2 minutes walk from here."

"Okay so shoot now" he said.

I did as I was told and and started narrating my tale...
"The other day, when you know we'd met for the first time, I'd faced a revelation...

I had just reached my home, met everyone and then retired to my room, but then my Grand ma (DS) came and said she wanted to talk about something important.
"It's something very important my dear child that you must fulfil Ur duty as a Yuvrani."
"Wait wait wait... Yuvrani? U r a YUVRANI??" I was interrupted.
"As a matter of fact I am... Now please let me continue." I said, eyes still closed.
"Go on... her highness "
"Its your duty to do the things required to make your kingdom prosper." DS said.
"I'm ready to do anything for our estate DS." I replied.
She smiled. "You've grown my love." she said lovingly, "I think its time I tell you something important."
"What is it DS?"
"Beta do you remember Maharaj Giriraj?"
"Umm Uncle Giri? Jaigarh ke Maharaj?"
"Jee beta. And do you remember his son?"
"Udayveer??"
"Right.."
"What about them DS?"
"Beta you were very small at that time."
"What is it DS? You are getting me intrigued."

"You're kidding me right?" I asked obviously shocked by the news. Shocked would be the understatement of the year. I was beyond shocked.
"This engagement is as hard as a rock and this marriage is bound to happen."
"No, DS. You cannot do this to me. You wanna destroy my life DS." I was on the verge of crying now.
"How will it ever destroy your life?" she asked me calmly.
"Will marrying a complete stranger not destroy my life?"
"You two used to be the bestest of friends back then..."
"But now we are not... I haven't even met him in the past 10 yrs. Milna to dur ki baat hai DS, we haven't even exchanged a few texts."
"I'll be back to normal in a few days. Meet him once and everything will be fine."
"No..." I whispered.
"They are coming in 3 days time... think about it beta. You are not just any common girl. You are a princess beta, A Yuvrani."
I couldn't say anything.
"Have a good night beta. Sleep well." She said and kissed my forehead and stood up to leave.
When she was near the door she looked at me and said, "Hum aapki dadi hain beta... Hum aapka bhala hi chahti hain... Good Night." With this she left leaving me in the room all alone with those undying scaring thoughts in this long long night...
"... That is what the problem is!!" I said and opened my eyes only to find him staring at me.
"You call this a problem?"
"Hmm Yes..?"
"Oh my God!! Hahahahahaha" He started laughing like a hysterical maniac.
"What is so god damn funny?"
"You.. You are... hahaha.. way too funny... to be... hahaha... true." He said between laughs.
"Its about my life for God's sake."
"U r not alone..." He said all seriously. I really dont understand how quickly he changes his expressions.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"What I mean that is this is India, arranged marriages are very common here."
"But not everyone is a Royal..."
"Royals too have a life, parents family, love... don't they?"
I nodded shortly.
"So why can't they find happiness in arranged marriages?"
I don't know what to say.
"And besides what your DS said is absolutely right. She is your dadi she could ill afford to trouble you..."
"I guess you are right..."
"Thanks for considering me her highness." And the smirk is back.
"I should get going now..." I said.
"What? sooo soon?" He said all innocently.
"Yeah I gotta go."
"Bhool na jaana humein. Aur shaadi pr bhi zarur bulana." He said with a wink and smirked.
I left from the place rolling my eyes as I did. I'm feeling light hearted... seriously, like some extra courange has come inside me. I'm ready to face anything. BRING IT ON!!!...
