CHAPTER 1

The rays of sun shone brightly. The day was perfect for a new change in Manya's life. Manya, a bubbly, chubby and innocent girl, was an orphan. It was the first day of her new college,THE JAIGARH UNIVERSITY. Being an orphan it was very hard for her to look after her studies in a proper way. But inspite of all the difficulties she took admission in the most prestigious college of India on 100% scholarship.

Today was the most awaited day of Manya's life. She was all ready to go. Although she never cared about what she wore, yet today she took extra care of what she was wearing. She wore a pink sleeveless salwar suit, hair tied up in a ponytail and not to forget her nerdy glasses.

She was so excited that she could not even eat her breakfast properly. Now it was time to leave. She took every one's blessings and left. Through the entire bus journey, she was very excited and nervous.

'THE JAIGARH UNIVERSITY' read the board outside the uni. She stepped inside to see the heaven on earth. What a place!! It was like a dream come true for Manya. She looked around excitedly but... all were dressed in western outfits and she became a bit self conscious. That thought did not remain for long as she heard the principal of the college addressing the freshers.
Principal: Dear students, I welcome you all to the university... Now coming to the point Mrs Patel and Mrs Gupta over here will take you to your classes and there you will be informed about everything you need to know. Best wishes to all of you.

"Manya" said Mrs Patel " come with me".

Manya followed Mrs Patel and reached her class.

Mrs P: Good morning students and welcome to the university. Now let us start with introductions...

Rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Manya became friends with Priya and spent the day with her. Everything was quite fun untill...

A group of seniors entered their class. It was the very thing that the freshers feared, Ragging.

The group of 4 boys entered. One sat on the teacher's chair while the others started moving from one desk to the other.
Boy 1 : So freshers... How are you all ? Fine I guess.. right?

Boy 2 : So start introducing youself everyone..

Boy 3 : Lets start with.. You (pointing to a girl)

Girl : MMM Me??

Boy on the chair : No not you..

The girl heaved a sigh of relief and sits down

Boy on the chair : The girl in suit..(Pointing to manya) Yesss YOU.. come here

Manya gets scared. Though she is a fighter but at times when stuations like THIS arise, she does get scared.

Manya : (to herself) why me? why me?

Boy 1 : Didn't you hear?? GO

Manya gets up and walks towards the boy on the chair.. still praying to god to save her. When she reaches...

Boy on the chair stands up and starts encircling manya. She is hell scared

Boy : name?

Manya : M.m.m. Manya

Boy : hmmm. let me introduce myself. I am ARYAN CHAUDHARY
(he keeps on encircling her)

Aryan stands behind manya and opens her pony and

Aryan : This is better..

Manya is veryyy scared.
He comes in front of her and sets her now opened hair. He takes off her glasses and throws them towards boy 1. She starts shivering with fear as she is unable to see anything without her glasses.

Aryan : wayyy better.

Saying this Aryan starts moving his hands on her arms and holds her shoulder firmly and starts rubbing them lightly...

Manya : (thinks) manya STOP HIM just STOP HIM

While she was thinking aryan holds her face and moves forward to kiss her but she moves back and is about to say something when the teacher arrives.

Teacher : What's going on here???

Aryan : nothing...

He leaves while giving manya an evil smirk. He does not even return her glasses.

Teacher : Students you can leave now..

Priya immediately runs to manya and calls her but manya does not reply and straight away rushes to the washroom. "What happened to you manya" she asked herself while washing her face, "how can you become this weak. Uus suar ki aulaad ko to sabak sikhana hi parega han nhi to"((sorry guys I had to include this one 😆))

When she comes out and starts looking for him, just then Aryan comes in front of her and puts her specks back on and when she tries to say something he shushed her and left. Manya was fuming in anger and says to herself "Why is it that every time I am happy, something happens to turn my happiness into sadness?!?
What ever it is, that suar won't be spared tomorrow han nhi to!!"
Someone places a hand on her shoulder and she screams "aaa".

Priya : oh please stop it meri maa.

Manya : oh its you..

Priya : Are you alright? After what happened in the class I thought...

Manya : yes priya I was scared then but now he won't be spared for what he did...

Priya : What are you talking about? I did not understand...

Manya : Just wait and watch priya. Wait and watch (and she winks at her)

Meanwhile with aryan and his group (Aryan, Ram, Sham and Ramesh)

Ram : hey Aryan did you hear that udayveer is joining from tomorrow

Aryan : Ah why are you telling me all this? don't you know how much I hate him

Sham : Shut up Ram! Aryan why did you choose that nerd? The girl which I had suggested was way better than her!!

Ramesh : Yes aryan why did you choose HER??

Aryan : Guys why don't you understand.. she might be nerdy and ugly looking from the outside... But if you take a look Behind those nerdy glasses, you will find a very hot girl..

Ram : Dude you are evil

Sham : How will it all work out as I am pretty sure that it won't be easy playing with her...

Aryan : Just relax guys.. I know very well what I have to do...

Ramesh : Best of luck dude

(aryan smirks)

At hotel uday nivas. Uday, Unnati and Giriraj are talking...

Unnati : Dada, Dad I am sooo excited for tomorrow. My first day of college yay...

Uday : Choti do you know that TODAY was the first day?

Unnati : Dada what are you talking about? I know tomorrow is the first day..

Uday : Then my dear you are highly mistaken..

Unnati : But dad told me that... DAD why did you do this? Didn't you know how excited I was for my first day at college

Giri : I am sorry my dear but I didn't want either of you to go to college today

Unnati : But why dad

Giri : Unnati stop behaving like a child. You are a princess

Unnati : sorry... (to uday) dada at least you could have told me

Uday : I am sorry princess but it was for your own benefit...

Unnati : I hate you dada

She leaves from there

Uday : Choti... (he says trying to stop her)

Giri interrupts : Leave it uday... She is a princess she should behave.

Uday : I know dad but...

Giri : You are well aware of the dangers on both of you. Didn't Ram Singh (security head) inform you about the probability of attack on you in the rush of college??

Uday : I know very well dad and I will talk to Unnati telling her about it..

Giri : hmmm

With this Giriraj leaves.

Uday to himself : Because of those devgarh royals my choti is angry with me.. I swear I will not spare them!!
