Chapter 4
Two days later...
Tring, tring...
Uday: Hello Dad. How are you?
Giriraj: Hello Uday, I'm fine and you?
Uday: I'm good, dad.
Giriraj: How's the semester going?
Uday: It's going good, for now. How's the workload and the business, when I last read the newspaper, I saw that you have opened a new business. If you need any help let me know.
Giriraj: Ahh...the workload never changed, it carries on increasing. Yes, I have opened a new business in Chicago and I will need your help.
Uday: What do you need my help with dad?
Giriraj: I need you to go to Chicago.
Uday: What? I mean, how can I leave, the semester just begun and...
Giriraj: Look Uday, I won't lie to you, so here's the thing... as you know, I'm starting my new business in Chicago and I need someone to be there in order to make sure that everything is run smoothly but I can't go there because of my busy schedule... so I have applied for you in the best college in Chicago which obviously has been approved. You can complete your studies there. Don't worry, I have informed your college.
Uday: Ok dad, when do I have to leave?
Giriraj: Next week. I will message you all the details.
Uday: Ok dad, bye.
Giriraj: Bye Uday, take care.
Uday: You too.
End of call.
After five minutes, Uday received a message from his dad with all the details.
Vijay: You won't believe what a madhouse the mall was. (making himself comfortable on couch)
Vijay: What happened Uday Banna, received another text from your so called friend? (looking directly at Uday, who was busy reading the text.)
Uday: No
Vijay: Then?
Uday: I need you to apply at this college now! (handing Vijay his phone)
Vijay: Lol, Uday Banna, you want me to leave you and go to Chicago? (Vijay chuckled)
Uday: Nope, I want to take you with me. (Uday said with a smirk)

Same day - in the night
Start of text:
Boy: Guess what?
Girl: What?
Boy: I'm coming to Chicago.
Girl: Wow, that great news. Finally I'll be able to meet you.
Boy: Wasn't it your idea not to disclose any personal information?
Girl: I know it was my decision not to tell each other our name or send a picture of how we look. Anyway, how long are you coming for?
Boy: Until I finish my studies.
Girl: When are you coming?
Boy: Next week
Girl: Wow, that's amazing!
Boy: "Wow, that's amazing!" is not going to change anything, I hope you remember your promise and come to receive me from the airport.
Girl: You still remember that promise?
Boy: Yes, I still remember that promise, looks like someone else forgot about it
Girl: Of course I remember the promise after all, I love to keep to my promises.
Boy: How will you find me?
Girl: Since I don't know your name... I'm going to come with a placard saying "Smile Buddy"
Boy: Lol, why would you do that?
Girl: See, I don't know how you look or what's your name and I don't want to find out until I meet you.
Boy: Ok, but why the name "Smile Buddy"?
Girl: You always make me smile.
Boy: Aww, so sweet. I'm sure to get diabetes with this much sweetness.
Girl: I think we should go to sleep now.
Boy: Why?
Girl: I'm tired, had a hectic day and you?
Boy: Nah, my day was amazing
Girl: Your day is always amazing
Boy: Maybe because I'm special
Girl: Definitely, you must be special, in your dreams!
Boy: I'm special because I have amazing friends
Girl: Aww, so sweet
Boy: Lol, I wasn't talking about you
Girl: How rude!
Boy: Just joking, you're my very special friend
Girl: Aww, thank you!
Boy: My pleasure
Girl: Good night, don't let the bed bugs bite
Boy: Bite them back, lol, good night.
End of text.
They both went to bed thinking of how they were going to meet and while thinking, they slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile on their face.
