They all assembled there looking utterly dull and sleepy after all it was five in the morning; the sun also had not risen properly when Prof. Suraj announced everyone to be ready and present in the enclosure. They all looked blank as they yawned again and again, Uday half body was already leaning on Manyata, as she pushed him every time. Prof Suraj stood and wrapped his scale over the table twice that woke up everyone completely as he gave a satisfied smile and said to everyone

SURAJ:You did not accept me to bring you all way here just to get you all overdone with work right ...I know you all have been working really hard for the fest but I think now it is time for you all to have so fun and discover this ancient town

Everyone watched him with their eyes wide open, they could not believe that this all words just came out from his mouth who himself was so obsessed with winning the contest, as they stared at him blankly and continued

SURAJ:there is not really much to see here as the antique and most o the palaces was already destroyed by a war bought by the last ruler of the dynasty before exiling himself, and to bring to your all notice even our college was renamed after the King and Queen

Suddenly Ram {the most studious and know it all guy} asked Prof with enthusiasm

RAM:But Sir then the name "Manveer" is of whom?

He got a light smack from behind by the bully Amish as he mocked and said

AMISH:You idiot it must be of some King's favorite dancer in the court... like always

While his best friend Shekar added

SHEKAR:Uff this king and their colorful life

Prof Suraj warned them to stop this conversation and they did after all they did not want to embrace any kind of trouble and be thrown out of the fest while standing there Uday blood began to boil, his eyes had fireballs and he shook with anger, he knew they had been into a habit of mocking everything but poking a figure in his past was not right. He almost lost control over his mind as he watched Manyata face; she had been smiling at their jokes like everyone other with a happy spark in her eyes. He had actually accepted her to react in some way, but he knew that was not possible as she did not regain her memory and neither did he want her to regain. His thoughts was disturbed by the creaky voice of the Prof

SURAJ:So today we will be visiting the temple that was built by the Queen of Jaigarh

Manyata slightly squeezed Uday's hand as she whispered to him

MANYATA:The same temple about which I mentioned to you

He smiled at her assuring with her excitement but in reality he was actually getting all tensed up, this could not be possible ... the place where everything started and where everything stopped forever. He could not let her meet herself, he had to protect her as with a disturbed mind they all went to the bus, and took their seats respectively as Manyata sat beside Uday and hold on to his arm tightly and looked outside the window as the bus rode uphill, she looked around the dried up trees as she shrugged over to him and asked him

MANYATA:Why are the trees dried up here? Hill station has greenery right"

He stayed quite as she looked at his face excepting an answer and finally he said the thing that first came to his mind

UDAY:Because the dry leaves are backward and so in this particular place all the kotas are saved for them{sorry typical bad jokes}

Manyata burst out in laughter as she said to him

MANYATA:My god Uday that was so funny

Watching her being so lively his mind got distracted from the main thing as he looked at her and began to joke about everything on their way, she kept smiling as with the start of his every sentenced her eyes began to glitter with an unknown spark. The bus finally stopped with a jerk, as they got down everyone mouth was wide open. They temple covered a really large area and the architect was awesome with different pattern in each and every wall.

It was quite surprising that this precious temple had no guards as Manyata along with Uday got inside the temple as priest who looked so old yet something about him gave Manyata a very positive vibes and he was waiting to welcome everyone stood there with a taal [plate of bronze] of crimson paste, diya and some flower. Manyata willingly put her head down as the priest offered her flower and took a pinch of crimson paste and applied on her forehead and said with an unique smile

PRIEST:Pratipatti Izvara vayam bhutasagrkamin niramin yusmadartham{Sankrit: welcome Queen we have been waiting for you}

She looked at him blankly as Uday began to sweat profoundly as Manyata opened her mouth and said

MANYATA:I am sorry I did not understand what you meant?

He smiled at her and said with a soft yet firm voice

PRIEST:It is Ok you will soon be answered just search for yourself

She looked at him blankly as Uday was alarmed and pulled her away and walked inside with his grip very strong and forceful and Manyata finally pulled herself away and asked him with an angry tone

MANYATA:What the hell Uday? Why did you pull me here?

Sensing her anger he cutely cupped her face and said

UDAY:Manyata he is just a cheat and just wants to fool you and take money from you

MANYATA:My whole life I have been waiting for answer, I have always waited for some one to come and claim me as their own blood and flesh, I always wanted to know who are my real parents? I always wanted to know why were such dreams haunting me and now that I know a way out I will cannot let anyone come in middle, I am going to search for the priest

UDAY:No you are not going anywhere? Did you get that?

Suddenly he felt his hands shoved by her as she looked up at him. He stood there shocked and taken aback, the destiny had betrayed him again as he looked at those eyes burning with rage, it was her he could not be mistaken it was his long lost love as he stepped back and all he could do was mumble to himself

UDAY :No you cannot do that no not this time

There was a mysterious smile in her face filled with anger as she questioned or rather answered to him

MANYATA:And who is going to stop me?

He stood there as she walked passed him and he could not even move a muscle and watched her helplessly walking away from him, even his throat lost all its power to shout, it was the work of the Queen.

Hey Anni , Update was awesome! Just like Uday, I was also disappointed that Manyata laughed at the other students jokes ... I was also expecting a more serious reaction. But then ... at the end 😲 - did Manyata suddenly remember her Past? It felt so! Or has the spirit of that place , possessed her😕? It was very interesting ... can't wait for the next instalment 😳.
