its not that my dad actually has different thinking he reckon i should have a job pass my driving then settle but i want to settle down soon like not marry so soon but just find someone get to knwo them and then get engaged then marriage after 1-2 years

Its not a good story so won't go into the details of it but will just say that times are not good and one should not place a lot of trust on others... so if you find a decent guy, than just have your dad do a thorough background check and if he gets approved by you and your family then after a few months (within 6 to 8 months) be finished with the whole matter and think about life ahead. Do not prolong it as one cannot judge somebody's true intentions or there REAL character until after marriage/ when you actually live with them.
