Chapter 4

Manyata stood there speechless, her mouth hung open, too astonished to move. A few seconds later when she gain control over her body she screamed "WHAT!!!"

"You heard me." Uday replied with such an ease as if they were discussing the weather!

"Tu…tu…. tu pagal hain kya?" Manyata asked stammering with anger.

"Come on Manyata yeh bhi koi puchne wali baat hain? Main toh tumhe bahut intelligent samjha tha! Manyata, main tumhe propose kar raha hu, tumhe! Ab koi normal insaan thodi na tumhe propose karega! Tumhe to koi pagal hi propose kar sakta hain. So the answer of your question is obvious! Haan main pagal hu." Uday replied with his signature smirk.

Manyata's nose was now flaring with anger and she shouted "Oye hallkat vede, yede tu samjhta kya hain apni aap ko? Agar main itne hi buri hu toh propose kyu kar raha hain mujhe?"

"Ab jaise ki tumhe pata chal gaya hain ki main pagal hu waise hi mujhe bhi pata chal gaya hai ki tum pagal ho. To maine socha ki hum dono ki ek kamal ki jodi banegi. I mean with u and me both being crazy life would be hardly boring! Isiliye maine tumhe propose kiya hai." Uday replied grinning.

Manyata's anger now knew no bound. She closed her eyes to gain some control on her anger and then said in a calm voice which was full with hatred. "You know what? Main tujhe kabhi bhi shaadi nehi kadungi, kabhi bhi nehi. Agar main achanak se shaadi ke liye desperate ho jayu aur tu iss duniya ki akhri ladka bacha ho na tabhi bhi nehi! Not now not then not ever!"

"Thik hain. To phir jao aur apni pyaari si behna ki shaadi ki tyaariya shuru kardo." Uday said shrugging.

"Nehi!!!"

"Nehi? Tum nehi chahti ho ki aisa ho? To phir tum isse rok sakti ho. All you have to do is marry me. As simple as that." Uday said amiling making an innocent face.

"Tu mujhe aisa force nehi kar sakti tujhe shaadi karne ke liye!"

"Ha per main tumhara cousin ko jaroor force kar sakta hu mujhe shaadi karne ke liye." Uday said with an evil grin.

"You… you…b*****d! Main tujhe dekh lungi! Tu dekh lena ki main tera kya haal karti hu haan nehi toh." Manyata said and stormed out of the room.

Uday sat on his chair with a huge smile in his face, totally pleased with himself. Although Manyata has left his office being really mad, he knew she will come back and agree to his proposal. She will do anything for Jaynandini's happiness. Everything has gone just like he thought and planned. When Manyata heard the news of his and Jaynandini's marriage he knew from Manyata's reaction that she wasn't happy about this. And when he figured out that Manyata cared about Jaynandini more than anything and Jaynandini was in love with someone else he was sure that Manyata will come to him and try to convince him to stop this marriage. Well he was going to stop this marriage anyway when he figured out about Jaynandini's feelings. He wasn't going to force Jay into this marriage and separate two people who are in love. No he wasn't such a b*****d. But Manyata doesn't need to know that! He knew that Manyata will do anything for Jay so he decided to use this to his advantage to gain Manyata. He smiled. Yeah he was forcing Manyata to marry him but he wasn't feeling too guilty about this. Because he was sure that there was no other man in Manyata's life and she has never let anyone into her heart. And she was never going to let him into her life in any other way and he wasn't about to let her out of his life. Because though they just met Uday was already in love with her. And he plans to conquer her heart as well. But to do so first he'll have to be in her life. So there wasn't really any other choice. He knew this was not going to be easy. He laughed remembering manyata's colorful words towards him. Only god knows how did he manage to keep himself form bursting into laughter and maintain his straight face infront of her when she was throwing those musical words at him. Manyata was a challenge. But then again he loved challenges. And he was determined to make her his. He smiled to himself and picked his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello" came from a deep male voice.

"Hey dad, congratulate me. I'm getting married!"

"Congratulation beta! To tumhe Jaynandini pasand ayi! Main bataya tha na tumhe ki woh tumhe jaroor pasand aye gi? Woh ek bahut hi achchi ladki hain. Oh I'm so happy for you!" Said a very excited Giriraj Sing.

"Ha dad woh bahut achchi hain aur mujhe bahut pasand bhi ayi. But not enough to marry her."

Giriraj was surprised hearing this. "Per beta abhi toh tumne bataya ki tum shaadi karne ja rahe ho? Aur aaj toh tum Jaynandini se hi melna gayi thi na?"

"Ha dad main shaadi jaroor karungi. Aur ha main aaj jaynandini se hi milne gayi thi. Per mujhe waha koi aur bhi mila. Aur woh hain Jaynandini ki cousin Manyata. Aur main usse hi shaadi karne ka faisla liya hain dad."

"Per beta main aur brij ne to…." But before Giriraj could finish Uday interrepted.

"Dad I'm in LOVE with Manyata."

"Really!" Giriraj was shocked as well as hell excited to hear that. He never even imagined that someday uday will fall in love with someone. "To phir toh tum sirf aur sirf Manyata se hi shaadi karogi. Don't worry about brij. Main use mana lunga. After all woh mera best friend jo hain!"

"Thanks dad."

"You are most welcome beta. I'm just happy that someone has finally stolen your heart. This Manyata must be very special." Giriraj said excitedly.

"She certainly is dad. She certainly is." Uday said smiling to himself.
