CHAPTER- 7
Hello peeps, How are you all. I know it's been a long time since I updated and since I came to this forum. But as I had said I am back and now here is the update. I hope it's a long one. Infact it's the longest one I have ever written. A big sorry to all those people whom I have kept waiting for the update as well as for the comments. I have to catch up on all the stories. So it would take time but I would do it. One more thing this update is dedicated to angleroops, (Roopali) and annabh ( Aneesha). LOL, this was Aneesha's welcome back gift. But it seems that she must be welcoming me back. Anyways. Now please enjoy the update.
Their cars raced in full speed. Manyata's car was a bit ahead of Uday's. But suddenly Manyata stopped the car at a halt. There was a kid on the road crying for his mother. She got out of the car and started consoling him. Both the girls got out of the car too.
J: Jiji yeh aap kya kar rhi hai?? Hum haar jayenge.
Manyata: Nahi J. Hamara jeetna is bache se zyada zaroori nahi hai. Aur phir agar hum insaniyat mein haar gaye toh kisi aur cheej mein jeetne ka kya fayda.
Unnati: Manyata sahi keh rhi hai J. Humein is bache ki madad karni hi chahiye.
J and Unnati were happy, they didn't show it on the outside, but they were literally dancing on the inside. Losing would mean, Manyata would have to perform with Uday for the annual dance. And that was what all of them wanted.
They consoled the kid and tried to find out where exactly his mother was. They found out that she was in a mall but due to three malls being situated together he didn't know which one was it. They asked her if he remembered her phone no. and thankfully he did. They called her up and informed her about her child's whereabouts. She came within no time and thanked the three girls.
When three of them reached home they saw the boys sitting there with a huge winning smile.
Uday stood up from the sofa and moved towards Manyata and said,
Uday (with a smirk): Humne kaha tha na, humse nhi jeet paogi. Ab toh tumhe hamare saath annual dance mein participate karna hi padega. Kahi apne vaade se mukar toh nahi jaogi.
Manyata was irritated. Not just because she lost but because she lost to him. A man who was arrogant, who never helped people without his own profit, with whom she was forced to behave in a good manner. Yes this was his image in her eyes. But now her anger poured out.
Manyata: Hum bhale hi tumse shart haar gaye ho, lekin ek bache ki madad karke humne jo khushi paayi hai uska andaza tumhe kabhi nahi hoga kyunki tumne toh kabhi aisa kiya hi nahi hoga. Kisi din karke dekhna toh shayad pata chale ki kisi aur ki madad karna kaisa lagta hai. Tum khud toh hamesha jeette ho kabhi kisi aur ko jeeta ke dekhna. Usme jo khushi milti hai na uska maza hi kuch aur hota hai. Par tum yeh kaha samjhoge kyunki tumne toh kabhi apne fayde ke bina kisi ki madad bhi nahi ki hogi. Aur jaha tak baat hai shart ki who toh hum poori karenge hi kyunki hum rajwade hai, aur rajwade kabhi apni baat se nahi phirte. Haan nahi toh.
With this she went to her room, leaving all the people in the living room shocked.
Unnati was angry with this kind of behavior of Manyata's. Afterall Uday was her brother, and she could never let somebody talk about his brother liked this, and specially when Manyata didn't knew about him. It was the time when she gets some piece of Unnati's mind.
Unnati went to Manyata's room and flunged the door open. She held Manyata's shoulders and turned her so that she faces her.
Unnati: Manyata tumne jo abhi neeche hamare dada se kaha woh bilkul theek nahi tha. Tum unhe jaanti hi kitna ho.
Manyata: Unnati hum bhale hi use achi tarah se na jante ho par humein itna zaroor pata hai ki woh kaisa insaan hai. Woh ek aisa insaan hai jo jeetne ke liye kitna bhi neeche gir sakta hai, who ek aisa insaan hai jo apne faayde ke liye logo ka istemal kar sakta hai par kabhi bhi, ek min ke liye bhi apna fayda bhool kar doosro ki madad nahi kar sakta.
Unnati: Nahi Manyata yeh tumhari galat fehmi hai. Sach toh yeh hai ki tum dada ko bilkul nahi jaanti. Tum jo unpe itne saare ilzam laga rahi ho, kya tumhe yeh pata hai ki who har maheene apni company ka 10% profit alag alag charities ko donate karte hai. Aur yeh sirf paise dene ya charity ki baat nahi hai. Infact tum unme se kisi bhi old age home ya orphanage chali jao, waha ke sabhi log dada ko jaante hai. Ek donor ki haisiyat se nahi balki ek aise aadmi ki haisiyat se jo har maheene unke paas jaata hai aur unhe unki zindagi ke sabse khoobsurat pal deta hai. Humein tumse yeh umeed nahi thi Manyata.
Unnati leaves the room with wet eyes.
Manyata sat on the bed. She was shocked to hear all this. She felt guilty and she realized that what she thought of Uday was completely different from what he was in real. It was completely false. He might be a womanizer but afterall he was a human and he had all the humanity in him. Although he didn't show it to everybody, but then that's the quality. Manyata had this urge to say sorry to him.
Manyata (to herself): I have to say sorry to him. But how?? Yup... The date... Thank you bhagwan ji aaj aapne yeh date karwa di...
Suddenly there is a knock on the door.
Manyta: Come in
Seema Ji: Yuvrani sa yuvrajsa ne kaha hai ki woh aapko kuch der mein lene aayenge toh aap tayaar rahiyega.
Manyata: Thank you Seemaji ab aap jaa sakti hai.
At the very moment J and Vijay enter the room.
J (in the most dramatic way): Jiji aapne humein bataya bhi nahi aur aap Uday ke saath date par jaa rhi hai.
Manyata: Yeh koi date nahi hai J... It's just a dinner.
Vijay: Manyata bhai agar yeh ek date nahi toh tum itna blush kyu kar rahi ho.
Vijay and J give a high fi to each other.
Manyata: Tum dono na. Acha yeh sab chodo humein yeh batao ki Unnati kaha hai.
J: Woh toh Uday ke sath ghar chali gayi. Vaise jiji usko bahut bura laga hai.
Vijay: Haan Manyata bhai tumhe Uday ko aise nahi kehna chahiye tha.
Manyata: Hum jante hai Vijay bhai. Humse galti ho gayi. Par ab hum apni galti sudharenge. Ab aap dono jaiye aur humein ready hone dijiye.
J and Vijay together (in a teasing way): Ohhh... ready...
And they both go out of the room.

Unnati enters Uday's bedroom. He was getting ready for his date.
Unnati: Dada aap kahi jaa rahe hai?
Uday: Haan choti, hum date par jaa rahe hai.
Unnati: Date par? Par kiske sath? Aap Manyata ke sath jaa rahe hain?
Uday: Hmm...
Unnati: Dada aaj jo kuch hua uske baad bhi. Usne aapko itna kuch ke diya aur aapne usko kuch kaha bhi nahi, Aur upar se ab aap uske sath date par jaa rahe hai.
Uday: Humne use kuch nahi kaha choti (cupping her face) Par tumne zaroor kaha. Hum jante hain choti ki Manyata ne jo kaha galat kaha par hum yeh bhi bahut achi tarah se jante hai ki unhe apni galti realize bhi ho chuki hogi. Aur ab toh hum yeh dekhna chahte hai ki who kab humse maafi mangegi.

Manyata's dress
Manyata gets ready. Seemaji tells her that Uday s driver has come to fetch her. Manyata got a bit disappointed as she had expected Uday to be here. She didn't knew why but she was upset and angry at the same time with Uday.
She reaches the destination and is completely stunned by the atmosphere. She had expected that being it a date with Uday, he would leave no stone unturned to impress her but she never thought it to be so amazing.
Being it Uday's restaurant he had reserved it completely for them. The place was decorated with blue, white and pink balloons. And it gave a very warm feeling to her.
The waitress guided her to the table where Uday was sitting. She sat opposite him.
Manyata: Uday humein tumse kuch kehna hai. I am really sorry about what happened in the afternoon today. I didn't knew ki..
Uday: Ki mujhme bhi insaniyat hai.
Both of them laughed at it.
Uday: So you agree ki tumse galti hui hai.
Manyata: Afcourse. Ab hui hai toh hui hai.
Uday: Toh theek hai ab tumhe is galti ki saza toh milegi.
Manyata: Saza!?
Uday: Haan saza. Tumhe hamare sath dance karna hoga.
Manyata: Haan toh shart toh tum jeet hi gaye ho. Ab annual dance mein tumhare sath dance toh karna hi padega.
Uday: Aaahh... Princess. Hum us dance ki baat nahi kar rahe. Hum tumhe abhi is waqt hamare sath dance karne ko keh rahe hai.
Manyata: Par... Uday... abhi
Uday: Par war kuch nahi.
Manyata: Acha theek hai par kya pehle hum dinner kar sakte hai because I am very hungry.
Uday: Aapka hukum sarakho par.
And they both laughed at it.
Manyata: Uday tum utne bhi bure nahi ho jitna maine socha tha. You are a nice guy.
Uday (bowing her head): Thank you.
Uday: Toh kya ab tum mujhse dosti karogi. Forcefully nahi. Dil se. Jaise Unnati, Karan aur baki sabh tumhare dost hai kya vaise hi hum dono bhi dost ban sakte hain.
Manyata: Ummm... Agar tumhare is restaurant ka khana khane ko milega toh haan.
Uday laughed at this and said,
Uday: Afcourse milega. And don't tell me tum hamare restaurant mein pehle nahi aayi.
Manyata: Aayi hun par is wale nahi. Its new right?
Uday: Yup it's the new one. Anyways (he goes down to his knees and puts forward his hand) Now can I have the pleasure to dance with you.
Manyata puts her hand into his and says,
Manyata: Sure.
