Hi guys. Sorry for the late update, I was busy with family. Thanks jarin for reminding me😆. Anywayz, do enjoy reading, please do comment and hit the 'like' button.

Chapter 2The news...

"I'm engaged!" She squeals.
"OMG! Your engaged! Zayn proposed to you?!" I exclaimed, and then suddenly I felt so happy for her as the news sunk in.
"Kinda..." She says blushing.
"Wow! I'm so happy for you!" I tell her giving her a hug.
"Thanks Manu. I knew you would be happy," She says.
"Of course I'm happy for you. We've been together since we were born!"
"Yes yes, all the puking and sleeping."
"Aahu stop it! That's the only thing you ever want to talk about about us as babies," I nudge her annoyed.
"Arrey baap re! Okay okay, so where are we going?" Aahana asks me.
"Rahul didn't say where exactly... But I'm guessing at Jay's?" I tell her.
"Only one way to find out."
"Yup, get ready quick Aahu."
"I'm already ready. Let's go!"
Aahana was my closest cousin. When I say close, I mean really close. We're like best friends who pretend to be sisters, but technically we are sisters... Aahana is the bubbly type of girl who's both popular and pretty. She's in love with singer Zayn Malik, well kinda a 'love at first sight' of thing. It's been 3 months since they met. I guess they were deeply in love with each other; the only reason why I think they got engaged so early.
We walk up to Jay's a.k.a Jainandini; but she prefer's the name Jay. Aahana knocks on the door.
"I can't wait to tell Jay!" She exclaims.
Ever since Sanya's wedding was ruined, Aahana had no one to go shopping with. That was another thing I was glad about. Aahana stopped following around Sanya like a lost puppy. Her and Jay are best friends now, well 'shopping bff's' to be precise.
The door opens revealing a happy Jay. At least she's not mean to me any more.
"OMG!" They both squel and give each other a hug. I roll my eyes, this is like a high school replay. All the hugging and squealing is a normal routine now. Once they pull out of their hug they were jumping up and down like they needed the toilet desperately.
"Urm... hello?" I say, waving at them; trying to find out if I was visible to them or not. But they carried on jumping and they started shaking their hands.
"Hailla! Can I please at least get inside?" I ask annoyed. They made room for me to pass and I went inside.
"I've got good news!" They both squeal.
"Okay you first Jay," Aahana says.
"Noo! You go first Aahana!" Jay replies back. I turn around and face them.
"Why don't you tell us the good news infront of us all?" I suggest.
"Good idea Manyata," Jay says. I smile at them; already knowing Aahana's good news. Jay would be really happy for her.
Jay and Aahana follow me into the living room where the others were.
"Manyata, you came!" Rahul exclaims giving me a high five.
"Of course I didn't. I'm dying to know what the good news is," I ask.
"Same here, tell us now, Rahul," Unnati says. Uday comes to stand next to me. Someone's stomache growls loudly and we all stare at each other to see who's it was.
"How about we have breakfast first?" Karan suggests and we all laugh.
"Come on guys. the table's ready," Jay tells us. We walk to the table and I sit next to Uday.
"There's two good news today," I whisper to Uday.
"How did you find out Princess?" Uday asks me.
"I already know one of them," I wink at him.
"Manyata, what happened to Sanya after the wedding?" Karan asks me. I look at Aahana and she stiffens. Ever since she found out the truth about about Sanya, she didn't like to talk about her. Sanya had literally brainwashed her.
"Ermm... I'm not sure. I think she left my dad," I tell him uneasily.
"Well, we won't ever see her again," Rahul says grinning. "Manyata literally turned into a devil." He laughs with everyone else. I glare at him.
"Don't laugh. I was annoyed with her," I try to defend myself.
"Thank god that your over your gothic phrase," Uday says. I nudge him in the arms.
"That was really scary," Unnati says.
"Well I'm back to my oldself now," I tell them. Then they stop laughing. We then spend the next 3 mintures eating in silence.
"Guys just stop it. Let's talk, I hate being quiet. It's so awkward!" Aahana exclaims.
"So how's Zayn, Aahana?" Haven't seen him in ages," Unnati says, trying to make a conversation.
"He's fine. That reminds me, I've got good news for you all," Aahana tells us. I smile at her; already knowing what she wanted to say.
"Hey same. Me and Jay have good news too!" Rahul says. I look at him suspiciously.
"Good news? You and Jay aren't becoming pare-" I start to say but Uday kicks me under the table. "What was that for?"
"What are you talking about Princess?" He asks me innocently.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about," I tell her.
"Nope, not a clue."
"Ughh! Fine, I'm not talking to you anymore!"
"But Princess-" Uday starts but Aahana interrupts him.
"Jay say your news first," She tells them.
"No Aahana, say yours first," Jay says.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
"Okay well... I'M ENGAGED!" Aahana exclaims.
"No way! I', engaged as well!" Jay squeals.
"Wow... your both... engaged. Great," I stagger. Uday then kicks me again under the table and I glare at him.
"That's great news," Karan says.
"I'm really happy for you two," Unnati says smiling.
"Congrats Jay and Rahul. You too Aahana, tell Zayn that I said congrats," Uday says.
"I will do," Aahana chirps cheerfully.
"So let's see your ring," Jay says. Aahana starts to look uncomfortable.
"Well... technically I'd don't... have the ring yet..." She says. We all look at her shocked. She lifts up her index finger yo stop us from saying anything. "But, I do know he will propose. I saw a velvet ring box at his apartment yesterday."
This was so like Aahana; she always jumps to conclusions. I sigh. If that wasn't for her then she'd be gutted.
"Aahu..." I start to her.
"No, I don't want to hear it," She replies back to me.
"Okay," I say to her but she ignores me.
"So let's see your ring," Aahana asks Jay. She shows it to her.
"Wow, emerald and diamons," Aahana gasps. It starts to get awkward around the table but Aahana and Jay don't notice.
"Princess," Uday whispers to me but I ignore it. "I'm so sorry. Please talk now." I pretend to ignore him and fold my arms over my chest.
"Nice breakfast guys," Unnati says. "I'm going to go now."
"Thanks for coming," Rahul says. Both Unnati and Karan then leave.
"Rahul, I'm going to go now too," I tell him. He nods. I get up and leave with Uday following me. U ckise the apartment door, and go to open mine.
"Princess!" Uday yells after me.
"Uday I told you, I'm not talking to you," I say opening my apartment door and walking in. He still follows me.
"Princess listen to me," he says, grabbing my hands.
"Udayveer chor do mujhe!" I exclaimed in frustration.

"Princess forgive me naa. I was making sure you didn't say anything you'd regret afterwards. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. It's my second time I'm saying sorry today. Please princess, I'll make it up to you. We can go to the cinemas if you want. Just please forgive me?" Uday explains. I look at his hands which was gripping my arms tightly and he lets go of them.
"Fine then, your forgiven," I tell him.
"Thank you!" He says oulling me into a hug. When we break away from our hug I smile at him.
"So which movie are we watching?" I ask him.

awesome update i seem to have missed a few chapters loved the update hope aahana gets he wish and he really is proposing manu and uday fighting as always and jay engaged loved the update well written thanks for the pm

Lovely update..loved it...So Jay & Ahana are best friends now..Jay Rahul are engaged now hope Zyan propose Ahana for engagement...ManVeer as always superb with their fighting and ruthna manana session...
