CHAPTER TWO: PANGA LEKE KAR DIYA HUNGAMA

{manyata's point of view}

It was a new day of school after two whole months of holidays. Couldn't just sleep last night out of excitement. After all we were going to go to high school!!!! Oh man !! I am so happy!!! Now we would be seniors!! And after total of three years the school would be over!!! Yes !! but mere khushi par pani phir gaya when I cum out of the bathroom after my bath , I still see Ashi sleeping peacefully like there is no tomorrow!! Bhagwan !! kab sudregi ye ladki!! Use soothe dekh toh mujhe neend aarahi hain!! Kam se kam theekh se toh so jaati adi bed pe aur adhi zameen pe so rahi hain!! Kya karoon mein iska!

I slowly go to her and do the thing I do everytym to wake her up!! I blow in her ears slowly and that is giving her irritation!!! And she pounces on me making me fall on the ground with a thud!!!

ASHI: Kya yaar manya!!!!! Kyu meri neend kharaab karne pe tuli hui hain!! Ab dekh thi hoon bach ke khahaan jayegi tu!!

And she gets up pulling me with her and just pushing my face into the soft, spongy bed !!! and is hitting me with the pillow!! I finally get up and make her stop doing what she is doing!!

ME: Statuee!!!!

She freezes in the position she was last and I continue..

ME: Now my darling buddy!! When I say down, u will just shut ur mouth and listen to me quietly!! Samjhi!!

And she gives me a small nod in her frozen position with her eyes wide open!! I then say down and she gives out a huge puff of breathing, as if she didn't breath for years!!

ASHI: Ab bata kya hai meri maa!!

ME: Meri pyaari ashi (pulling her cheeks) itne din hum jo mazaa le rahe the na uska aaj THE END hogaya hain!! Aaj se phir se school shuru hogaya hain meri amma jaan!!

And then she looks at the bedside clock, her eyes become wide and then getting up in a hurry on her way to the bathroom she says

ASHI: Hayyeee rabba deekho mera kharaab fate, agar mein nahi hogayi tayyar toh hogayenge hum pehle din pe late!![I knw its rhyming, it is supposed to, when those two gals are narrating anything, or are too excited or happy they tell anything like a poem]

ME: Jaldi neeche ajana, uniform bahar nikal ke rakha hain, bag bhi bahar set karke rakha hain, khan eke liye jaldi neeche ajana!!

They have their breakfast, soon and leave to the bus stop to catch their bus. When they enter the bus, they soon make friends with many of the bus mates. They meet their middle school friends, brian , dean and lisa. Lisa was like them too. Carefree, and having a cool attitude.

They soon reach their school and are happy that their present school is lot bigger than their old school. Suddenly Ashi gets a call.

ASHI: Hey hold on a sec manya! Look JK ka phone!! (she picks up the call) haan bol jaykay{they call jay jaykamini short form jay kay}

JAY: Ashi jiji aaj mein aapke school aarahi hoon aapke saath hi ghar chaloongi!! Mein parking lot mein aapka intazaar karoongi!!

ASHI: Theeke meri maa aajana school ke baad therenge tere liye!!

Manyata was listening to the conversation and started to shake her head. After the call they went in and started to explore and went in search of their locker. To their happiness their lockers are side by side!!

Then they attend classes and it was a half day so they were left early. But before they left Ashi suddenly remembered sumthing.

ASHI: Arre manya mein bhool gayi humare assignment ke liye books library se lane tey na? ek kaam kar tu parking lot ke paas ja dekh ki jk aayi ya nahi mein books leke aati hoon .

She quickly goes into the library but bumps into a handsome boy who has earphones plugged in and was in a hurry and had sum books in his hand which fall out because of their bump.

He yells at Ashi!!

BOY: Oh god!! Ye bhi abhi hona tha kya yaar!! {picking up the books and stuffing them in his bag}

ASHI: Oh hello!! Tere kaan mein earphones '. Wait a minute did u just speak hindi??

BOY: [removing his earphones] hmmm '. Ya I just did!! BTW I am Udayveer singh Rathore. Bringing his hand forward for a handshake.

ASHI: Oh' (shakes hand) I am Ashi singh Chauhan! Btw catch u ltr!! And she runs inside!!

He leaves plugging his earphones back and shaking his head and runs to the way outside. There he meets his friends near a car. And gives a high five.

Manyata slowly exploring the grounds gym etc reaches outside.. she doesn't find Jay so sits on the bench near by the parking lot. She plugs in her earphones and plays music.. she then spots sum boys talking to a girl who is younger to them and are laughing. She shakes her head seeing this. Suddenly she realises that it was Jay talking to those boys. She gets up in anger and walks briskly upto them and pulls Jay from there. Then she looks to the boy who was talking to her sister and starts questioning him.

MANYA: Oh hello!! What the heck do u think u were doing??and from back Jay pulling and telling jiji wait stop it and she tells rukh Jay tu apna muu bandh kar.

The boy was just staring her as if she were an angel from heaven!! He just fell in love with her!! He thought !! such innocent and pure beauty!

BOY: Mujhe hindi athi hain jaan !! mujhse hindi mein baat kar sakthi ho princess!!

MANYA: Oh abbey sunn !(clicking her fingers on his face) jyaada pankh math phaphada samjha na!!! aur kya jaan , princess!! Tere job hi naam ho(interrupted)

BOY: Udayveer singh Rathore! Mera naam hain sweety!!

MANYA: Oh toh sunn udayveer singh!! Jyada math itra !samjha na? aur teri himmat kaisi hui meri behen ke saath flirt karne ki!! Huh?? Bata tu mujhe.. dekh meri beheno se aur mujh se door rehna!! Samjha!! Warna (interrupted)

UDAY: (Catching her waist and pulling her near) warna .. warna kya karogi?

MANYA:(Freeing frm his catch) warna pachtayega bacchu!!

And that tym Ashi cums running!!

ASHI: Oh!!!!!!!!!!!! Rukh jaaa meri maa!! Kya hua yaar ? kyu maar rahi ho use?

And manya tells everything wat happen!! Oh !! meri maa yeh mera dost hain!! Yaar!! Yeh harmless flirting karta hain!! Said ashi.

" joh bhi ho isse maafi toh mangni hogi hi hogi" said manya.

" aa ha , hum maafi nahi mangenge princess, after I dint do anything, did i?"said uday.

" dekh mere dimaag ka dahi maat bana samjha? Dekh tujhe kuch choices deti hoon kar le usme se!! pehla maafi maang aur khisak le! Dusra mein tera muun nooch lungi!! Thisra tere is pyaare re muun ka bartha bana doongi!! Ya phir muun todh doongi!!"(showing the punching action) said manya.

That tym one of the teachers sees them and is cuming near them!!

" phir na apne is pyaare se muun ki history geography yaad karte rehathe gaate rehna ki leke meine manya se panga ,hogaya tha hungama, dekh ko is pyaare mukhda ko, bangaya ab bartha jiska jo" said manya.

And by then the teacher cums and she yells at them ashi, manya and uday get detention for 2 days!! Uday gets angry as it was his first tym that he got detention!! But ashi and manya are hifing each other!!

"dekh liya na anjaam !! next tym se jab kisi ladki se flirt karega na toh meri baath yaad rakhio!! Haan nahi toh!!" says she and stomps awys pulling jay with her.. in doing so her hair hit udays face.. and he is lost in thoughts. " tumhare liye toh jaan bhi de denge hum, tumhara hokum sar ankhon par dear!!"thinking is snapped out wen ashi tells sorry yaar and runs away!!
