Chapter 3
"Because I think I'm falling in love with you, manyata."
That was the last thing he said when he realised manyata has fallenasleep. She was exhausted; physically and mentally. But he was certain that he would let nothing in harm way reach manyata.
Over the next few days he stays near manyata and helped her when she required any assistance. She was getting stronger as were the ties with her family members. Although she was stronger there was still a weaken visible when it was possible to see behind her mask.
Jay, uday, unatti and vijay couldn't see manyata like this so were planning a surprise party for manyata's recovery hoping to make her happy. The idea was approved by DS and the party was organised for the following evening.
A few hours before the party uday went to manyata's room and put three boxes on her bed.
"What are in these boxes uday ?" Manyata.
"Open them and find out."
She opened the largest box, in it was a beautiful evening gown the shade of baby blue.

She opened the second box in it was a diamond necklace with a matching set of earrings and the third contained a pair silver heels.
"Thank you uday. They are beuatiful but why now. There is no party or function. So I won't be able to wear it."
"Princess, we are going out. I have asked DS permission. Is that ok with you?"
"Of course." She gave a little smile.
"Ok then you go put these on and we shall go after your really."
Manyata made her way to her bathroom and had begun to get ready. She first applied some light make-up and her made hair into fancy bun, then wore her dress and heels.
She had unintentionally left the necklace and earring in the room. She went out and saw uday sat on one of the sofas. He had changed from his shirt and trousers for a elegant suit with a blue tie than matched her dress. He looked like he was worth a million dollar.

He looked up and say a beautiful angel in a pink dress , her hair twisted into a fancy bun. She smiled at him and said,
"I left the necklace and earrings here."
She went to her bed and picked the box. She started to put her earrings in and gasp with pain.
"Princess are you ok?" He was by her side within seconds.
"I'm fine. I just pricked my hand with the back of the earring that is all.
He took her hand and examined it. There was a small prick but no blood. He bent down and kissed her injury.
"Princess, please be careful. Look I will put the earrings and necklace on you ok?"
She was about to protest when he said, "Princess I don't want to see you get hurt again."
She finally nodded in agreement. He got the earring from her hand and put it in her ear. He did the same with the other ear. Then he picked up the necklace and went behind her. His hands swiftly brushed past her collarbone as he brought the ends of the necklace to the back of the back of her neck. They both felt a electrical current run through their veins. He turned her around so she was facing him. She looked into his eyes.
"You look beautiful, princess." And kissed the back of her hands."Shall we make our way down?"
She smiled, "Yes uday."
With that they made their way towards the stairs. There were many voices making different conversation downstairs in the hall.
"Why does it sound like there guest here today? And what's going on?"
"Patience princess, everything will be explained."
He looked at a servant and nodded. The servant went to make an announcement. He blew a trumpet and said " Entering rajkumari manyata accompanied by yuvraj udayveer."
And with that the elegant couple made their way down the stairs. Guest were amazed by the perfection of this royal couple. Family members proud of both of them.
Uday accompanied manyata toward her family where she took the blessing of her elders and hugged vijay; who looked dashing in his suit

"What is this party for?" She asked her family.
"This was a surprise party for your recovery, princess. And we all wanted to see you smile."
"Thank you. And may I ask who organised it."
"We did."
"We did."
"We did."
"We did, princess."
Four voices said at once.
Manyata smiled genuinely. Uday turned towards the guests and told them it was dance. He turned to manyata.
"Princess will you do me the the pleasure of accompanying me in the first dance."
"Yes."
He led her to the dance floor and he begun to ballroom dance with her. It seemed like a few minutes to them but they were so absorbed into each others eyes that they did not realise that the song had finished. They snapped out of it when they heard everyone clapping in appraisal. As other couples start to dance they moved towards their family.
Vijay came to them a cute but goofy grin stuck on hi face and said,
"oh what love! What emotion! What connection you guys had during that dance! You-"
"Shut up vijay!" manyata and uday both blushed whilst saying this at the same time.
"Jay, unatti, they're speak at the same time and even blush at the same time."
Jay and unatti were having laughing fits. Vijay was on a roll now; it was a good thing that it was only the family that was listening.
"Vijay beta what exactly are you saying?" maharaj giriraj question.
He moved forward so uday and manyata could not see his face and winked at him.
"Uncle G didn't you see them dance? They almost set the house on fire with intense love."
"Yes gririraj, did you not see it." Maharaj Brijraj said entering the conversation. Helping both of them to tease manyata and uday.
"Dad! You are becoming a carbon copy of vijay bhai. Please stop." maharaj Brijraj just smiled at his eldest daughter whilst she blushed even more.
"Maharaj Brijraj , Maharaj giriraj, vijayendra singh stop teasing manyata and uday beta but its true, they the are beuatiful couple."
"DS, please don't agree with them."
"I'm stating what I see, manyata."
Manyata did not know what to say.
The family soon after this conversation dispersed to entertain guests.
Manyata started to move toward the terrace to see the sunset. Uday noticed and followed her. She sat down a bench at the far end. There was nobody on the terrace except the both of them. Uday went to sit besides her.
"Princess what are you thinking about?" He asked her. Both of them were looking at the sun setting.
"Why does everyone I trust betray me."
"Do you trust me, princess."
"I do but -"
"No buts princess either you do or you don't. "
"I do"
"Then princess if you remembered everything during our childhood like I did you would realise that losing you again could not be an option for me."
"Funny that you mention remembering because there have been a few memories that have been coming back slowly."
She smiles at uday and he smiles back.
"Manyata, you many think I'm another obnoxious royal who sleep around with girls but that the way I chose to mend myself, not intentionally but it happened. I always blamed myself for letting you get kidnapped." Uday never called her manyata unless he was serious or angry.
"But it wasn't your fault."
"I know that but i couldn't help but think like that. And by now you must know I love you and I can't bear to see you leave me again. I know our rokha happened when we were young
But I'm going to say it anyway."
Manyata was surprise when he bent down one leg and he took out a small shiny box.
"Princess, I care for you more than you could possibly know and I never wantto let you go. Will you do the honour of becoming my wife?"
Manyata couldn't move. Finally she looked him in the eye.
"Uday, right now I dont know what I was. Please give me sometime."
"As you wish princess. How three and a half months sound?"
"Why three and a half uday?"
"Well princess I'm going to London tomorrow morning to finalise one of the hotel project there and it will take time. So?"
"I will make my mind up by then. Thank you uday for taking my opinion into consideration."
"I will wait however long I need to for you to let me in."
