Chapter 4

Everyone was speechless. Maharaaja jee quickly went to Komal in order to console her. Manyata didn't speak a single word she looked at her mother's helpess face, she couldn't think straight all she wanted to do was get away and that's what she did she ran to her room.

A pair of eyes has witnessed everything, yet his mouth didn't utter a single word. These were the same pair of eyes that had so much love for the girl who was now completely broken. He wanted to run to her comfort her but he knew that it wasn't the time. He always wanted to marry her to make her his but now after witnessing all this he only wanted to make things better for her. He would never marry her if marrying him was that painful to her. He didn't want to hurt her even if not hurting her was hurting him. But he couldn't do that.It wasn't about him, infact it had never been about him. It was about Jaigarh. After all he was the Yuvraj of Jaigarh. He was Yuvraj Udhayveer.

He had no right to think about what he wanted in life, it was always about Jaigarh. He lived his whole life for Jaigarah. It was never about what Udhay wants to do it was always about what Yuvraj Udhay veer wants to do.

Right now he just wanted to be Udhay, he wanted to go straight upto Manyata's room and comfort her. Tell her if she doesn't want to marry him then she doesn't have to. It didn't matter how much he loved her, how much he wanted to marry her he just wanted to take her sorrows away but he couldn't do that. The Yuvraaj in him wouldn't allow him to do so. He was furious. He didn't know what to do. How in the world would he manage to fulfill both his duties; his duty as a Yuvraaj and his duty as Manyata's lover,friend, protector. How could he make them both happy?

Chapter 5

Udhay couldn't sleep all night all he had in mind was Manyata and Jaigarh and what should he do now. After a lot of thinking he decided no matter what happens he is not gonna give up. He is strong enough to handle both problems. And finally an idea clicked his mind, he wasn't sure if what he was thinking was right all he knew that this was the only way out.

Next day Udhay went to Manyata's home only to find the house awfully quiet. He realized he came a bit too early every one must be sleeping but he didn't care. He had to talk to Manyata before anyone else does, so he quietly went to Manyata's room.

He was surprised to find the door unlocked. He peeked inside but couldn't see anything, everything was dark. He went in and pushed the curtains aside to allow some sunlight. As soon as the light entered the room he found Manyata sitting on the bed, it looked as if she didn't sleep all night, and he saw the food tray on the nightstand which was totally untouched.

He went up to her she didn't realize he have been there. She was so engaged in her thoughts that she didn't even notice. Udhay slightly tapped her shoulder in order to get her attention as soon as he did that Manyata's eyes shot up. She looked at him with a look that confused him. Her eyes had so much pain,anger,lonliness,questions. Her eyes were red as if she cried all night long, her tear streaked face and her hair was all over the place she looked completely broken. Finally Udhay spoke

Udhay: Manyata yeh kya haalat baana di hai app ne? app theek tu hai

Manyata: Tum kyun aaye ho yaha Udhay..Please chale jaoo mujhe akela chor do

Udhay: Hum appko kaise akela chor sakte hai princess akhair app ne humey apna dost banaya tha. Aur hum rajware hai ek baar kisi se dosti kar le zindagi chor sakte hai dosti nahi..

Manyata: Dost..?tum khud ko mera dost kehetey ho..yeh kaisi dosti hai tumhari..tum jaante ho ke mein Akash se pyaar karti hun aur mein sir fuss ki hun phir bhi yeh shaadi ki baat..?

Udhay: Manyata humara yakeen manyee humey nahi pata tha ke dad kal yaha yeh baat karne wale hai…honestly hum bhi uthne hi surprised hai jitni app..unho ne beighair humari marzi jaane yeh shaadi ki baat karli..agar humare bas mein hota tu hum yeh kabhi nahi honey deyte.

Manyata: Tumhari marzi thi ya nahi thi lekin ab ho toh wohi raha hai na jot um hamesha se chahte they..Tum hamesha se humse shaadi karna chahte, tum hamesha mujhe Akash se door karna chahte they…Tumhare liye tu khushi ki baat hai..tum kyun itne hairaan ho rahe ho.

Udhay: 'they'…hum tumse shaadi karna chahtey they…tumhey Akash se door karna chahte they…yeh sab hum kal karna chahte they magar ab nahi…Kal aur ajj mein buhat farq hai..Ajj humari zindagi mein koi aur haii..aur hum sirf unse shaadi karna chahtey hai..aur kisi se nahi..

Manyata: Yeh tum kya kehey rahe ho Udhay..?kon hai woh larkii..aur agar aisi baat hai tut um iss shaadi se mana kyun nahi kar leyte.

Udhay: Unn ka naam Anamika hai woh humare saath London mein parhti thi..Abhi kuch mehino se India aayi howi thi aur in dino humey yeh ehsaas howa ke hum un se pyaar karte hai aur sirf unhi se shaadi kare gey.

Manyata: Tu tum ne kisi se kuch kaha kyun nahi Udhay? Kyun khamosh ho tum

Udhay: Kya kahey hum princess Anamika koi raj kumara nahi balk eek aam insaan hai, hum ne soocha tha sahi waqt aane per hum sab ko saach baata de gey. Hum khamosh iss liye hai yeh waqt sahi nahi hai humare dad Jaigarh ke liye kuch bhi kar saktey hai…iss waqt kuch bolna matlab Anamika ki jaan ko khatre mein daalna hoga. Dad Jaigarah ke tareeqe ke raaste ka haar ek kanta ukhaar bekhey gey phir chahe woh Anamika ho, app ho ya hum.

Manyata: tu ab hum kya kare Udhay..?iss samasya se kaise bahar nikle…

Udhay: Manyata abb iss samasya ka humey sirf ek hi uppaye nazar aa raha hai..

Manyata: kya upaaye..?

Udhay: Shaadi karlo humse princess..

Manyata: kya..?jaante bhi ho ke kya kehey rahe ho..abhi tu kehey rahe they ke tum Anamika se pyaar karte ho aura b humse shaadi ki baat..yeh kaisa pyaar hai..

Udhay: Hum Jaantey hai hum kya kehey rahe hai princess… abhi iss ke ilawa humare paas aur koi raasta nahi hai..hum Anamika ki jaan khatre mein nahi daal sakte…Issi mein sab ki bhalayee hai appki humari, Jaigarh ki aur Jaipur ki..Zara soochiye agar apne shaadi se inkaar kar diya tu kya hoga…Dad ke pass jo papers hai uss mein saaf saaf likha howa hai ke Jaipur ki Yuvraani ki shaadi humse hogii..zara soochiye agar aisa nahi howa tu kya hoga..yeh sirf appki humare baat nahi haii..iss baat se dono Jaipur aur Jaigarah ki prajha bhi joori haii..zara soochiye appke ek inkaar se kitni tabaahi aaye gi..DS ko court kecheriyo ke chakar kaatne parey gey aur app loog shayad Jaipur ki ghadi se haath do bhetey..zara soochiye iss ka anjam Monya ban kar nahi balke Jaipur ki Yuvrani Manyata ban kar..zara soochiye unn logo ke bare mein jinho ne umeedo se appko Yuvrani chuna tha..kya app ek pal mein unn laakho logo ka vishwaas tor dey gi..kya yehi vaada kiya tha appne..

Aur jaahan tak hum doono kii baat hai hum kal bhi dost they aur aagey bhi dost rahe gey..ussey ziada kuch bhi nahi..Humare liye yeh shaadi sirf ek samjhota hogi Jaipur aur Jaigarh ke liye. Hum yeh shaadi sirf duniya ke liye kare gey..App ke liye hum appke sirf dost ban kar rahi haii kabhi paati hone ka haq nahi jaataye..aur jaise sahi samey aaye ga hum appko iss bandhaan se azad kar dey gey..Iss beech agar app Akash ki taalash jaari rakhna chahti hai tu hum appko kabhi nahi rokey gey.. hum sahi waqt ka intezaar kare gey aur jaise hi who sahi waqt aaye ga hum iss rishte ko toor dey gey..Aur phir app Akash ke sath aur hum Anamika ke saath apni zindagi sukoon se baser kar paaye gey.

Manyata: Lekin Udhay..

Udhay: Lekin wekin kuch nahi princess.. iss ke ilawa humare paas aur koi raasta nahi haii..

Manyata: sirf dost..?vaada..

Udhay: haan nahi tu..dost aur vaada ussey ziada kuch nahi..abb tu maan jayee…DEAL?

Manyata: Deal..(smiled)

Udhay: shukar app muskariyee tu..warna hume tu laaga tha app muskurana hi bhool gayii..

Manyata: haan nahi tu..kal raat se roo rook e mere bura haal haii..aur bhook bhi laagi hai..

Udhay: Bhook kaise nahi lagey gii..app ne kal raat se kcuh khaya jo nahi..aur appko tub hook bhi kuttu walo lagtii hai..

Manyata burst into laughter..Udhay was soo happy to see her being back to herself. He fed her food and meanwhile told her what she should do next. He asked her to tell her family that she has no problems marrying him as she thought a lot about it and she finally understood that Akash will never come back. And it is best for her to move on. He asked her to be happy in front of the family and act as if she has totally forgot about Akash and is happy and excited for her wedding..He asked her to act all lovy dovy with him in front of their family so they won't doubt them.

Manyata agreed to everything Udhay said.

Udhay: Manyata humey lagta hai humey ab chalna chahiye…kisi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ke hum yaha aaye they..aur hum ne app se jo kuch kaha uss yaad rakhiye ga…ab hum chalet hai..

He walked towards the door but came back in and kissed Manyata's forhead. Manyata's eyes popped out in shock..

Manyata: Oooye waeire halkat yeh kya kar rahe ho..

Udhay: Abb iss ki aadat daal dejiye princess ghar waalo ke saamne hume aise hi peish aana haii..samjhi app..

Manyata: samajh gayi..lekin tum bhi muqey ka fiada mat uthaoo warna mujhey tut um jaante hoo..(smiled)

Udhay just smiled and quietly left the mansion. Instructing servants to not tell anyone that he was here.

On his way back home Udhay recalled the whole conversation with Manyata. He knew he lied but that was the only way out. He knew if he didn't lie Manyata would never believe him, he had to lie to her in order to make agree on what he planned to do. He knew this wasn't right but right now he couldn't think of anything better this was the only way out. He lied to Manyata about being in love with some else, he knew that if he lied Manyata would never question his intentions of marrying her. He had to make up this whole imaginary character of Anamika, it was very important to make Manyata believe that he was in love with someone else, and he will never force himself on her he would never act like her Pati. It was important to make her feel safe with him and this was the only way.

Udhay's intentions were no different though, he decided that even if they both got married he would never cross his line, he would always be her friend. He would never force himself on her, he would wait for the day..the day when Manyata would accept him and his love.

Chapter 6

Everything happened way to fast. Manyata and Uday both managed to assure both families that they were madly and deeply in love. Everyone was shocked to see a new Manyata over night but Manayata assured them that she loves Udhay infact she always loved him but never knew of her true feelings.

Both have started to act all lovey dovy in front their families. For Udhay however it was never acting, he loved Manyata with all his heart and he was just being himself. Manyata at first felt awkward with all this but then she finally got use to it. She got accustomed of acting that way. She was naturally doing all that she at times forgot that she was acting she was just getting use to all that, she was getting use to of Udhay.

Rajpirohi jee couldn't find a better mohrat the only other mohrat was after a year so everyone decided that they don't want to wait any longer and decided that they ll go with the first shub mohrat. Both manyata and udhay had their roka done in childhood, so they just had a small engagement ceremony in front of the royal families.

Both royal families then headed to Jaipur for the grand wedding. Everyone but Jay nandini. She decided to stay back. She couldn't see this happen in front of her eyes. She tried all her silly tricks to make this wedding stop but all went in drain. Now that Vijay was also with Manyata Jay nandini was left alone all on her own.

The last two days had been really hectic for both Manyata and Udhay. They had a grand welcome in Jaipur followed by the sangeet and mehendi ceremony. And today was finally the D day. The day has finally arrived it was the wedding day of Yuvraj Udhay Veer and Yuvrani Manyata.

For Udhay it was like a dream come true even though he knew that it was just a drama for Manyata this wedding meant a lot to him. It was real to him. He was finally marrying the girl he loved immensely. He knew that this wedding is not going to change anything between him and Manyata but still he was looking forward to it. He had this strange feeling that was beyond anything he couldn't put it to words but he felt as if he was flying.

Manyata on the other hand was surprisingly happy too. She indulged herself in every little rasam and was enjoying every little bit of her shaadi. She looked at her mehendi and saw the letter 'U' written in it and smiled to herself as she remembered Udhay she haven't seen him for the past two days as the traditions doesn't allows a groom to meet his bride to be before the wedding. She missed him but then she smiled at the thought of seeing him today after 2 whole days. But then suddenly her smiled faded and then she finally realized what she was doing. She was doing all this for Akash and she reminder herself of that, she reminded herself that she only loves Akash.

The shub mohruat was finally there. Udhay along with other family member waited for Manyata at the mandap. The preist finally asked Raj mata to call the bride and Raj mata asked Komal along with other Rajkumari's to get Manyata.

Manayata was beyond nervous she was wearing this heavy embroided lengha, with a lot of jewerally she truly felt like a princess today. She was praying to God when Komal finally came in and took her downstairs to the Mandap where Udhay was waiting.

Udhay saw his princess coming down the stairs; he was mesmerized with her beauty she looked like a goddess dress in red. He couldn't believe that he was marrying this beautiful girl in front of her. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

He came out of his chain of thoughts when he heard the Pandit who was asking him to put Varmaala around Manyata's and then the same to Manyata.

After bidaai, ghar praavish and whole a lot of other rasams they newly married couple was finally sent to their room.

Udhay came inside only to find a beautiful sight in front of him. Manyata sitting on the bed, her lengha all spread out her gunghat was down on her face. This is what he had been dreaming of but sad as this still remains a dream for him. He knew the reality of this situation and it didn't matter how much he wanted this dream to be true, it wasn't.

He closed the door and went in, he knew it was going to be awkward for Manyata and he decided that he ll make comfortable and make her feel secure.

Udhay: hey princess…app tu bilkul naayi naweli dulhan ki taarha humara intezaar kar rahi haii..appke iradey humey neik maloom nahi parh rahe hai..kya irada hai..

As soon as those words left Udhay's mouth Manyata raised her gunghat up and replied

Manyata: ooye halkat veere looche, tumhey aur kuch nahi soojta. Woh tu humey maa na kaha iss liye hum aise.. tum na apne mann se saari ghalat fahmiiya nikal do haan nahi tu.

Udhay: yeh howi na Manyata waali baat, hum tu bas mazaak kar rahe they yeh dekhne ke liye k ajj job hi howa uss k baad app theek tu hai..

Manyata: Udhay tum bhi na..aur waise bhi ajj job hi howa uss ke bare mein tu hum ney pehle hi apne app ko taayar kiya howa tha…pehle hum thora darr rahe they lekin jaise hi tumhare baarey mein soocha mera saara darr choo mantar ho gaya..

Udhay: haan bahi jab hum hai tu kya gham hai..

Manyata: haan ab bas bhi tum ziada footage mat khaao..

Udhay: okay baba jaisa app kahey princess…chaliye abb app jaa kar fresh ho jaaye aur phir soo jaye waise bhi app buhat thakhi howi lag rahi haii..

Manyata: Thaki mat pooch yaar Udhay yeh lengha kitna heavy hai uss ka andaza bhi hai aur uss pe mujhe yeh chalti phirti zeewar ki dukaan bana diya haii..mein abhi jaa kar change karti hun…lekin pehle tum mujhey iss jewelry ko utaarne mein madad tu karo.

Udhay: Hum..?

Manyata: Nahi..aur hai koi yaha pey…mujhse nahi hota yeh sab…

This was the last thing he wanted to do, he always looses all his control whenever he is near Manyata and now she wanted him to remove her jewelry that too on their wedding night. She has no idea how many times he has imagined about this taking off her not only her jewelry but a lot more. He shook his head as to take all these thoughts out his mind. But guess he was left with no other option marrying her and being just her friend wasn't all that easy after all.
