I haven't seen today's episode.
But
I completely relate to Komal's sensitivity. For years she hasn't seen her daughter, and now she does not want her daughter to be a part of undercover politics that she suffered (or so).
I think Komal is looking at the bigger picture - her daughter's flourishing in a natural life, rather than the quick solution of marriage to an already ready prince. The marriage will happen, but in the long - run, will her daughter be happy?
But is also not decided that in the long run, would she be happy with Aakash? Even if Udayveer wasn't in the equation, would Manyata-Aakash survive in that chawl? As a princess, she could get used to certain comforts. But even if she does sacrifice them for Aakash, won't Aakash ever feel a little insecure in presenting his wife, a Princess and heir to a flourishing state, in society while he is doing some manager job? People talk, more than talk they taunt.
And what if Manyata goes on to meet her parents? In the palace, surrounded by servants, all the comforts of the world at her feet; in that case even if she does say that she doesn't care about them to Aakash, would Aakash believe it? Self made, proud men like Aakash get easily effected by such things. Manyata's background would prick Aakash's pride, making him a little insecure and frustrated that he can't give Manyata what she deserves or what she has left behind. That frustrations and insecurities would only cause them to drift away? How will she be happy then?
Some class difference between a couple creates problems, here there is a major class difference which can be never erased. Pyaar se dil behel sakta hai, pait nahin bhar sakta. Aur jab pait ki aag jalti hai tou sabse pehle pyaar ki vaat lagti hai.
