When I was young, I was always told that all of us are leaders.

But as I started growing up, I realised that was not true. Just like what you said, leadership is meant for those who are up for it & worth it.

For me, a leader is one who is decisive, strong & just. DS & UV, both, have these qualities. They know how to react to situations on the spot, they don't let their feelings take over & most of all, they are reasonable human beings who don't abuse their power.

I feel that Manyata, too, has the makings of a leader, but she just needs to put aside her childishness & start using her brains. She needs to stop being manipulated by those around her & needs to start acting upon her duties, rather than constantly thinking through her heart.

Btw, i always love all your siggies. The words written on them, always have me thinking. Actually, your post has me thinking too! You're an awesome writer & I'm saying this for the nth time. (lost count of how many times i have said that)

DS is a true leader n a raajputni.. she knows how to play politics very well.. at the same time, she knows how to do justice to everything.. abt komal, well she is not a good maharani at all nor she's a good mother in my opinion.. yeah, she wants manyata's happiness but doesnt know what's good for her and doesnt think abt her future.. n komal told manyata to run away from the mahal to akash.. which i think manyata will not run away... she knows she has to become a princess n maybe she doesnt know but she is changing.. thanx for sharing.. loved ur analysis on komal, uday n epscially DS.. 😊

I always saw Komal as being dainty...but I did think she'd prove us wrong and be strong eventually🤔- she showed inklings of it in the past were she would tell Brijraj off. But I guess after today it's safe to say that isn't happening anytime soon.

Komal is right in her place as a mother...but I think there are different types of mothers: One who see the bigger picture for the child...and the other who just see their child's immediate happiness.

DS is the first as a grandmother...and Komal is the latter. DS does not want to deprive Manayta of Happiness- and that is what Komal isnt understanding (from what I'm interpretting via the W/U) she seems to think that what her daughter WANTS is what can only give her happiness.

She hasn't raised her daughter and looking at JN she should realize, that simply giving your child EVERYTHING they WANT does not make them Happy. Her younger child is an example of that.
