After today's episode all I want to tell Komal is plss be a loving mother for Manyata but not a blind mother for her like Mahabharat's Gandhari who cant even see that whatever DS is doing is for the betterment of Manyata's future only ...

I can understand that Komal is very sensitive and emotional when it comes to Manyata since she has got this opportunity to shower all her love on her daughter after 16 yrs of wait 😭 but she needs to understand that as a mother ,her duty is not only showeing love on Manyata but also make sure that Manyata's future is safe and secure which is only possible if she becomes a successful princess and marries a prince and not a pauper 😊...

Komal needs to understand that DS or Uday or even Brijraj are not Manyata's enemies out here ...even they want the best for Manyata and so they r going in favour of someone like Uday and not Akash 😊...Why can't Komal realise that Manyata does not hv a future with Akash since they belong to a royal family ?? ...Thats the only reason DS has made this plan of 3 months for Manyata's betterment only 😊..

Also doesn't Komal want Manyata to have a happy and relaxed comfortable married life with someone like Uday rather than going back to the chawl with someone like Akash ?? 😕..Even DS is thinking about the same and thats why she made this 3 months deal so that Manyata herself can hv these realisations after 3 months...Why cant Komal understand this simple thing ?? 😕

Why can't as a mother Komal see the bigger picture of Manyata's bright future as a princess ?? 😡...At present ,Komal is only thinking about Manyata's instant happiness which is with Akash but she is not understanding that DS is thinking about Manyata's happiness in the long run 😳..

Komal herself today told Brijraj that Manyata is a kid ...so then Komal realises that Manyata's majority decisions too r kiddish ..right ?? ..Even after this why cant Komal realise DS's main motive behind this lie to Manyata ?? 😡😕..Few lies which r told to kids for their better and brighter future are not suppose to b lies but a blessing in disguise ...is it so difficult for Komal to understand this ?? 😕

Anyways I hope tomorrow if Komal sees Uday-Manyata together hving some happy friendly moments ,mayb then she will realise why DS took this decision 😉😃...But even after this if Komal tells everything to Manyata ,then I will say she is a complete failure as a mother 👎🏼

Jyoti, after reading your post, even I was beginning to ask: Why is Komal blind to what is good really for her daughter?" As you say it can be a case of mamta going too far.

But one explanation that strikes me is that in this household Komal's mother-in-law dominates, and after that even Brijraj dominates Komal.

Only in the case of Manyata's happiness is Komal finally getting some opportunity to even the scores with her mother-in-law and husband.

In this household, otherwise, who is listening to Komal's voice. Even this Bua pipes up with some point now and then and gets her say ...

...but its possible that Komal finally feels empowered enough to go against her MIL and husband and make her own voice heard.

What I am thinking is that in this domestic politics and game of one-upmanship, Komal should not let her new power go to her head. She cannot spoil Manyata's future just because she needs to finally assert herself.

Right now it is as if this family is being divided into two camps. All the others on one side and Komal creating the second side with just her and Manyata.

This is not correct for Komal to do. She cannot assert her independence in a way that ruins Manyata's true path in life. This is a typical case, na, where the mother who was docile till now suddenly finds her voice when it is too late, and then argues in favour of something wrong?

Mansi if thats the case then I will say Komal is being a really selfish mother here and is just looking for an opportunity to go against her husband and MIL /...

So she is putting her own ego or self-respect over her daughter's happiness and wants to prove her MIL and Brijraj wrong in front of Manyata so that she can win in the one-upmanship game ...but she is not thinking that Manyata has no future with someone like Akash

The problem here is Komal is trying to take her Mamta too far here and also is over-conscious about the fact that like her ,even her daughter should not suffer this sort of domination forever in her life and so she seems to b opposing to Dadisa or Uday's plan here

Just hope she tries to see the future of Manyata here after seeing how Uday and Manyata get along so well together 😉😳😳

Nothing more to say for Komal.As you said in the long run UV only can make M happy and she'll soon realise that.She needs to think like a Maharani of Devgarh too .But motherly feelings are overpowering her but soon the BIG picture will be in front of her and I think DS or as you said UV's love will surely make her think that😉

I just hope in her blindness ,she does not end up telling the truth to Manyata now and ruin it all forever

At present Manyata is on the verge of a transformation phase and so any such blunder made by Komal might cost her later dearly

so true, jyo...aunty komal is giving me grey hair!!!

i can understand each n every character's motives n actions in DEK..

but this lady totally defeats me!!!!

what in th world does she want fr her daughter...a comfortable rajwada lifestyle ...or a chawl type life wid an unemployed man who is virtually a stranger to them...

i'd still understand if she had made some effort to get to know A but she knows zero zilch abt him n is ready to let her daughter go n live an insecure life wid him...also she called M a 'chhoti si bacchi' today n still she trusts M's decision on such an important matter to b mature n correct?!!

can she b so altruistic ( n stupid ) that she doesn't understand what it wud entail fr M..mebbe to go bak to a cleaning ladies job in th mall to support her husband!!...n does she think a chawl wud b a safe n secure place fr a devgarh rajkumari?!!

n i feel a mothr who has found a longlost daughter wud b more determined that she assimilates n embraces their way of life !!

i agree i think kuch lies zindage mein kise ke betterment k lia bolay jaen to us mein koe bura nae ha.as for DS wo bhe m sa pyar karty hain us k lia galat nae kar sukten han y baat ha if we see from plan prospective to shaid komal ko bad feel hua ho.😃

Komal is only looking at present and is feeling why all r lieing to my poor daughter but she is not able to see the reason behind this lie which is for the betterment of Manyata's bright future only 😡

She is only seeing things in one direction like Brijraj punishing Manyata or DS-Uday playing games with Manyata but she is not seeing the other direction where Manyata is starting to bond with Uday or she is starting to become more determined and focused in her mission ...

I just hope she does not turn a blind mother like Gandhari of Mahabharat who blindly gave the powers to Duryodhan but then the end result everyone knows

I'll just copy-paste what I wrote in my post. Too lazy to write it over again. Sorry for my laziness!

Often, many people say that it is difficult to take up different roles in our life, at the same time, as we often end up doing injustice to one. Komal illustrated just that. She is a mother, & will always be a mother. A mother who is blinded in her daughter's love that she cannot see beyond her daughter's pain. It is both selfless & selfish at the same time. It is selfless, because she overlooks everyone's pain, her own pain of 16 years, & can only see her daughter's physical pain. It is selfish because she expects everyone to do the same.

Is she justified? YES, she is. Afterall, a wait of 16 years is long. However, is she wrong? YES, she is. Both as a queen & a mother. Being a mother is not just about giving your child the best, but it is also about teaching your child the most valuable things, even though it might hurt him/her. If you don't allow your child to go through any pain, he/she will never learn. Because we learn from our mistakes.

I really hope Komal will not tell Manyata about the plan, because she might then save her daughter from the current pain, but in the long run, it will hurt everyone, including Manyata.

That's the difference b/n a mother's heart and a viewer's heart...😆 we need ManVeer and komal need manyata's happiness...(or she think its her happiness😕)

Agree Jyo...in the long run, manayat's future is secured only with Uday..and she must realsie that...but lets give komal some time..May be she is thinking like this because manyata got fainted and all...Once manayata becomes fine, komal will think along DS lines...
