In fact many times script I feel writer is challenging himself because if you watch first few Episodes where M does sat proper Thank you and Sorry types of English words. I also remember when J was cursing and shouting on her in mall she understood every single word. Even when DS asked her about J's gift she properly said thank you but later all of a sudden she forgot everything She started saying very irritating Thankku and Sari..

...

That's really interesting actually, I havent noticed so I'm going to have to re-watch with a keener ear this weekend.. and TV soaps often make small bloopers. For instance, M's scare was forgotten in a few frames where we can see her bare neck. 😆

Amazing Post! 👏

After reading this post and the JN Chronicles (I must say, a very unique
and intersting piece of work!) I understand ur point and do actually sympathise with her...
Not completely, but more than I used 2, thanks 2 u. JN is a very intersting character with
Very valid motives and I think you've portrayed that very well in ur posts.

However, I feel that she will not move on until UV and Manyata actually get married and
Also become Mahraja-Mahrani of Jaigadh. Which is a shame bacause she is a character
Being wasted right now. Her development as a character would be very interesting to see!

Let's hope CV's give JN the push that she needs to move on (ManVeer wedding!) and a
brighter future soon!

Love,

Res. I agree and disagree. 😊

*Edited*
I agree, after I read the JNCs, I did feel like I understand Jai more. She was just neglected. I just finished reading today's WU, and felt bad for her.

I disagree on the middle child syndrome, I think she is just neglected, she would be the baby of the family, which is the last child, Manyata would be the first child, who is the leader, and Vijay Bhai, (the cousin-brother, so he still counts) is in the middle, he is sort of neglected and he doesn't get much attention (until now because he is Manyata's teacher) but he doesn't care because he is used to it 'cause he is a cousin. and not much of a brother.

🤣Jai i know u love jai a lot 🤣And ure words move me sometimes when I read ure latest chronical….i started liking her reason don't knowSo plz spare me for start feeling for jai….i guess than I couldn't stop myself from thinking her future but ya one strange thing I have noticed that jai and udayveer's clothes are many times of same colour as when he wore blue sherwani during kite flying festival she too was in blue suit same recently he wore yellow...She too was yellow and yesterday he was brown she to was wearing brown which disturbed me a little but then seeing manveer every disturbance fainted away😎

🤔I know I have gone out off topic but seriously reeha I feel she is needed to create trouble between manveer for now as more or less due to her they will come close to each other...and each character can't get same space time 3 months that is still there and i guess one new entry is also there so maybe it is for jai...😍

Hello Reeha!

I'm not a regular viewer of the show - or even a qualified viewer in typical sense - but I catch scenes of the show here and there, perhaps missing the minuscule (although I doubt) but mostly gathering the gist. And occasionally I also come by lurking on the forum for a good post to read.

A good post like this one. Kudos to the way you describe J. Although I have serious suspicions that the CVs will really expand their exploration (pardon the alliteration) of her character to beyond it's need in the ManVeer story, I personally wish they would. Because truly, how many times do we have TV shows that explore realistically a grey character that isn't a hot bodied male? Like you pointed out - our thought process is cultivated in a way that we subconsciously take to the bad men in fiction; but rarely the bad women - and bad really isn't an appropriate word to begin with - but well.

So anyway, wanted to drop in and say thanks for the post. It made a good read - both in content and expression - and if the CVs ever come by this forum to stalk their regular audience, I truly wish to ask of them to delve deeper into J's character. Not in the trite turn her into an unadulterated vamp after her job is done in the ManVeer story way, but in actually exploring the making of a person who is taught to be self consumed over all else, then pushed into an abyss of apathy where she is always second best. It doesn't make her any less of an asset purely as a princess. As a diplomat, as a symbol of the royal house, as a representative of class and stature. Does all of that amount to nothing, simply because her heart instead of glowing golden like Manyata's has been scarred with grey?

No offense to any other fans - I'm not a diehard fan of the love story in this show, but I have nothing against them either. They are just not the highlight of the show for me, because tbh, I only keep up with the growth of the grey characters - Uday and J, and when the writers indulge my rare kind, Vijay 😆 Now while Uday is obviously a sealed fate bound on a path of improvement and redemption eventually - like any hero really - I'm curious about how they will tackle J... or if they will tackle her at all...

Again, thanks for the post 🤗

*edit*

oops, forgot introductions (maybe I need to join those Vijay bhai classes with Moniya 😆)
Call me JZ... or just J I suppose, befitting for this post and my confessed loyalty?! 😆

Reeha I totally agree with you. J does have the potential to move on but I think she is going to need a lot of help from her family. They need to understand J and help her get through this pain.

Awesome Post.👏👏👏

From the start of the show i liked J more than Moniya, there were times when i used to really fell irritated with Moniya's screeching and screaming. Yeah J is the bad girl just like UV is the bad boy, but i felt sorry more for J than UV,at least everyone supported him. I agree with you even my heart broke when J's roka with UV was cancelled just because her long lost elder sister was found , its ok that the family cancelled the roka, but not even ask J about her feelings, the total lack of sympathy for her by her family, really surprised me. At least someone in her family could have comforted her, or at least asked her how she felt. I guess the family took her for granted that since she has been brought up to be a perfect Princess, she does not have feelings. It must have been really painful for her to be always the spare, to have lived her entire life under the shadow of her lost sister, and now when that sister has been found, she has become almost non-existent. So its really not surprising that she hates M. To tell the truth if such a thing would have happened in any normal family also the same would have happened.
I really hope J gets all the happiness she deserves and she does deserves some happiness, for even after having every material happiness, she has never got the emotional happiness, i know its hurting her a lot as she is realising that UV has fallen for M, I hope she realises that UV had never loved her and I want her family to give her all the support she needs to get over, and i hope she finds someone who really loves her. 😛

It's not that I think J is the highlight of the show, don't get me wrong, Manveer will always be my first and formost. But I do think There is so much potential for J's charecter.

I agree with you that she will play a vital role in brining manveer together in attempting to pull them apart, but at the same time, I think we as viewers need to realize our fallacy in promoting and defending UV's negative demenoir at times as being "depth" (which it is) and "shades of grey" (which they are) but simply brushing off the same charecteristics in J as her simply being the jelous, evil sister: there is so much more to it then that. As for the new charecter, they found a Yash look alike so fast😲 LOL. if only😳

Welcome J, to the DEK forum! And honestly, your post was amazing, thank you for commenting- not just because you agree with me...but because you don't have our perpetual Manveer bias, that you are able to see things from a neutral stand point and get what I'm saying. I really noticed the contrast in How we Differentiate between UV and J even though they both embody the same attitudes, through my friend's woman studies lectures.

Women often bring down women by calling them "b*tches" ect...but embrace the same traits in males as being "hot", "sexy" etc. It's exactly what many of us do here: there is a double standard. I'm not saying what J does is right, or I support her, but I do see that there is a very different reaction towards the two similar charecters.
Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully the CVs won't butcher her charecter and leave her as a bitter, pissed off princess: If you UV can go through Change, I hope J can find someone to change her for the better too.
