I really regret crying that day now they think the best way is to get me married quickly, earlier Dad told me 26. I wanted to meet someone around now and get married at 26 or 27. I want to get to know my future spouse.

Sonali, don't take this the wrong way, but have you tried online? A lot of busy young people simply don't get time to meet someone between work, school and family. And I know plenty of people who have met via the web. Give it a try, atleast you have the option of narrowing down a feild of potential partners.😊

i think parents just need one hint or a yes from their kids to get them married maybe because they plan this event ever since their kids are born so their whole life they wait when their kids say yes n then they start planning things n all specially for indian parents. agree with u i want to do something similar like getting engage when i am in my last year of masters n then get married when i am done with it so i can know the person better.
