Reasons why we dislike akash: discuss here only! - Page 6

My reasons for disliking Akash's character are simple..

1. He behaves like over grown Kid…for example he went into a depression on his birthday because he thought everyone forgot his birthday…(that was really irritating. I mean he has had 25 birthdays before..he isn't 5 anymore…Man up!!)
2. instead of helping M adjust to her new life, he works against it..and instigates her against her family..which makes things difficult for her..Akash should encourage M to accept who she is and help her move forward in her life…and hold her back…because if you really love someone you would want them to grow and be the best that they can be..not hold them back and Askash is holding M back from her true self.
3. I noticed on Manveer's first date, when Akash showed up by mistake that Akash saw Manveer having fun on their date and said "jab tumne buliyea hi nahi" karke some dialogue and M totally felt guilty and ditched Udai…

My list is lambi I can go on and on but I think these are my major reasons…which annoy me…

I have not warmed to Akash yet because for some reason i find his 'love' for Manyata suspicious, maybe its my pessmistic nature, but the sudden head over heels and especially for someone as 'mature and level grounded' as him to suddenly act like Majnu and confess undying love in from of everyone... this was a bit hard for me to digest... its making me think that this is all a fascade and he is only wanting to rope Manyata in because of her status... but then again i could only be thinking of this as i reason to dislike him.

Have we been told how old Akash is? he looks at the very least 26 years old and his nature and level grounded nature is polar opposite of Manyata, i agree about Ying and Yang and couples should not be the same personality to mesh well... but itna bhi different nahin hona chahiye. Akash is too passive and i feel Manyata would just walk all over him and she would be the dominating of the two, Manyata needs someone to pull her down and control her at times, this is a characteristic that Akash does not possess.

And i dont know i have found their scenes to be forced of late, their romantic scenes from his side does not make me say 'aaawww' but more 'eeehhh' Manaya shows the emotions of a typical girl head over her first love, but Akash's emotions seem forced and hence makes the scenes seem awkaward, i dont know if thats how its supposed to be shown, or the actor is not use to being a romantic person.

I feel their jodi doesnt have that 'x' factor that hooks the audience, it may be nice to watch but its not enthralling.

I ve started hating all the topics which bash the show and the characters.

I think every story has to run its special course of events to make it different from the other stories. And I really do like the way the CV's are covering every aspect and are giving the right amount of time to the each story. If Manyata was to start feeling for Uday and Uday started loving manayta the story would be no different to the others on tv and would end in no time. So I would rather prefer seeing uday fall for manyata and manayata for uday in a slow process with interesting twists and turns in b/w.

So GUYS STOP COMPLAINING :D
