Hey there,

I just made this post to clarify it for once and all to all Abhishek fans that the fandom here has nothing against him. Some fans may get carried away , often merging the actor and the character together but everyone knows that an actor and the character that he plays are two DIAMETRICALLY different people.

I , for one, am a fan of Abhishek's talent as an artist. He and his chemistry and co-act with Ratan caught my fancy in 'Agle Janam...' and just for his portrayal of Chhote Thakur and his story with Laliya , i saw the show till the leap ruined it. That role was tailor made for Abhishek and that is how he shot to stardom and a very well deserved one. He brought a sensitive strength and beauty to his role.

Here , in DEK, the problem is NOT with Abhishek at all. He is doing his best to the scenes and the track being given to him. But what is he supposed to do if the character written out for him has failed to connect to the audience? What is his fault if the writers could not create the Aakash that they intended to. If the character has a weak structure , not even an Aamir Khan can put flesh into it.

Aakash is NOT Abhishek's fault. He is a talented actor who excels in serious and nuanced sensitive roles . Give him something solid on paper and a setting that he can merge in and watch him glow.

Lastly, its a humble request to fandom that kindly remember Abhishek is not Aakash and as far as i recall our education , we are supposed to be sensitive to everything and everyone around us. Respect Abhishek as a person and as an artist . Aakash is all fiction but Abhishek is real and real people deserve just as much respect as you do.

Pink,lovely post yaar.I too am a fan of Abhishek and actually started watching the show for him.but the problem here is that the CVs have not put any thought into his character if they intended for him to be the lead and by pitting him against a well sketched out character like Uday,they have given him a raw deal.I do feel that sometimes the comments do get very personal calling the actor ugly,old and other such things which are really unnecessary but kya karein sometimes emotions do take over.It's not too late and the CVs can still do something with his character which will make the proceedings interesting to watch😊

yeah, ur right.. its not about abhishek the person or actor its abt akash the character.. just because the cvs didnt give him a strong enough role or just because he doesnt suit with manyata that doesnt mean he's a bad actor...he is a good actor.. but most people dont like his role of akash..

True! Abhishek is doing the best he can with the character. His emotions really show but yaar, that Aakash is such a lousy and loser character! Some audience really can't differentiate and no one can blame them, it's not easy to do so. Only a few out of many can keep the reel, reel and real, real.

No hard feelings for Abhishek but Aakash, just get out. Please.

Lovely post PC agree with u ...Abhishek is a talented actor and he has proved it in his show Aagle Janaam...but in DEK his character as Akash is poorly sketched and this has nothing to do with his physical appearance.

I hv been one of the fans of Abhishek as well since agle janam days ..used to even updt for that show ..😳😳...he is a terrific actor and this is making me more sad that his talent is simply wasted as Akash in this show as the character is very one-dimentional ..I would love to see some really interesting variations in Akash's character to b honest 😊

AYE AYE MADAM POCO...,thee is always correct,👏👏some people do get sensitive about our actors,n blend the actor n character together...,i will also agree with thee...abhishek rawat is a very good actor...n inspite of his good acting skills,he is not being able to give"jaan-praan "🥱 into the character...so i will also say...😊

PEOPLE,GET REAL...WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE CHARACTER NOT THE ACTOR...WE ARE NOT BASHING HIM,BUT THE CHARACTER...N THOSE WHO ARE ABHISHEK FANS...GO N BLAME THE WRITERS FOR GIVING SUCH A WEAK BASE TO A CHARACTER WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN A STRONG ONE...😳

Awesome post.No other way to sat both are not same 😊.Abhishek is a great actor but Akash as a character 's with so much flaws that he can;t help it
