I believe in power pack Actors and I will pick an Excellent Actors over an I'm too sexy for my head male actors any day but this Akash guy just does not know how to exhale and gel well with the viewers which is something the guy playing Uday can and has done.

S H as i don't know u r true name. What u said is correct . With due respect to abhishek rawat he is nice may be too nice. I like him from his previous serials. I am sure nobody dislike him intensionally. But sometimes it happens a character become an enigma . Udayveer is like that. People fall in love with wicked prince and forgot mr nice. If uv is not in dek akash may survive. Don't feel bad.

I have seemed to notice that many people in the forum don't seem to understand where to draw the line between Abhishek Rawat the ACTOR who plays Aakash Verma the CHARACTER. I dislike Aakash as much as the next Manveer fanatic but that doesn't give me any leverage to personally abuse Abhishek. Abhishek is a fine actor and one of the best I may add. His portrayal of Shekhar in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Ki Jo is one of the finest performances I have seen till date. His character was so raw and different from his onscreen family and Abhishek did full justice to the character. However, I am saddened to read what is being written about him in DEK forum on I-F and elsewhere. It's not his fault his character is the way it is. And it's certainly not his fault Ashish upstaged him in the way he did. I personally believe the fault lies within the production house. What were the THINKING when they cast him opposite Priyal who is barely 17??? Arre tum logon ke brains ghaas charne gaye the kya? Aur upar se they bring in Ashish as Udayveer and instead of making UV an all out negative character, they end up making him the anti-hero that everyone sympathizes with. The PH guys messed up BIG TIME this time around. It's completely their fault that Akash's character failed to connect with the audience and now Abhishek is paying the price for it.

I just hope Abhishek doesn't give too much importance to the bashing/abuse he has been the target of. Abhishek you really are a good actor but you also committed a mistake in taking up Aakash's character. You should have never done that. Anyway I hope you can take something positive out of this whole experience. Sometimes some things are just not meant to be. DEK was, is and will always be Udayveer aka Ashish's baby just like Agle Janam was yours. You need to put your foot down and have a talk with the PH. Either they provide your character with more substance or you quit. But I will be honest when I say that you will never be accepted by the audience opposite Manyata so please don't make another mistake and continue with this show if the PH insists on keeping you paired with Manyata.

I agree that some people do not know where to draw the line, but you see as an actor, you get accepted when the audience somehow connects with your character, also as a person you will recieve that fame. And you pay the price when audiences dont like your character.
What we tend to do is usually put the actor and person in one, and sometimes people go overboard.

Now coming to many people talking about Abhishek as himself, well many might and might Not have watched his previous acting, some may think he is good, others may think he is bad. However, the problem is that he just can not create ANY type of chemistry with Priyal. And age difference doesnt really have anything to do with it because in Kuch toh log kahenge, mohnish behl and Kritika kamra are ages apart yet they have a bit chemistry in them... they look cute n u dont get bored
As an actor, I feel that sometimes he doesnt give his best, his feelings are pushed or not firm and sometimes his delivery is weak. Like today, when he was mad ans pointing at Uday, he just didnt seem to look very angry to me and his dialogue, he could have done MUCH better.

Now, in this forum, you will get almost everyone who doesnt like Akash but genuinely feel no hate towards Abhishek. Some newbies do come in and write dumb stuff on the articles, and thts just sad but we have mods here to look at bashing of actors. Sometimes we do crack a few jokes and just try to make ourselves content but we do realize tht its not Abhi were hating but Akash. But there will always be a few odd ones out who will say things about Abhi n tht u cant really change cuz its der opinion.
