The tracking device was turned on in Manyata's phone as everyone awaited news of her whereabouts.

She had wanted to learn how to ride the bike. She got alone and started the bike. Akash tried to stop her but maybe she hadn't paid him any mind. Everything was fine for a few minutes until she tried to slow down and make a sharp turn. Her smiling face turned to horror.

She landed on top of fruit seller's tent. In a semiconscious state, she reached for her phone, she recalled all the good and bad times of her life the past few weeks. One face she didn't expect flashed in her mind and one she did expect did not come to mind before everything went dark.

Udayveer was surprised to see her name light up on his phone all of a sudden. He picked up and heard no yelling , no asking for help, but just some shallow breaths. For some reason his heartbeats increased for the one moment when it dawned on him why he heard no voice. He signaled for a security guard.

" Start tracking the phone now!," he ordered.

"Jee Rajkumar," he answered.

Meanwhile Akash was wandering around looking for Manyata. He couldn't find her. He knew he would be in a fix if he told the police. The royals would blame him for losing Manyata.

So he kept his search on for a bit longer.

A crowd surrounded her. Someone saw the phone and answered.

"Jee inka accident hogaya hai," the man said.

Udayveer froze in shock. Everyone looked at him with concerned glances.

Security arrived with the location.

"Hum baas abhi arahi hain." Udayveer declared.( We are coming now.)

Udayveer raced out of the palace while others looked after him in bewilderment. He ordered security not to inform anyone until he assessed the situation. Doctor Saab followed Udayveer to the location.

He pushed through the crowd with the help of security. He bent down beside her unconscious form. He saw her chest rising and falling. Her breaths were getting labored. She had some injuries but he could not tell if they were life threatening ror not. All he could tell was that she was not even opening her eyes now. She wasn't yelling or even talking to him. He didn't like it this way.

Doctor Saab arrived beside him and he gazed over the situation. He could tell the rajkumari needed medical attention right away. Udayveer picked her up in his arms right away. Akash tried to get through security and the crowd.

"Saab yahaan ek accident hua hai. Please don't crowd the area anymore. Ladki serious hai," a police officer patrolling the area declared. He feared it was Monia but he couldn't get a close enough look.

The royal families were informed. They met the ambulance at the hospital. Everyone was startled to see Manyata in this condition. Udayveer went as far he was allowed. After she was wheeled in, he sat down trying to take in that something had actually had happened to her.

Jai Nandini looked in his direction. He gave her a stern look and shook his head at her. She had wished bad on her own sister and now she was fighting for her life.

"Uday yeh sab kuch kaise hogaya?."Komal cried.

Udayveer tried to console her. Dadisa turned to Doctor Saab.

"I want a full investigation done on this. Whoever was involved, what exactly happened, the whole scenario," she declared.

Meanwhile Akash's parents were worried about his safety. They decided they would shift cities tonight itself. They didn't want to get blamed for Manyata's disappearance. Akash didn't want to leave before Manyata was found but his parents were pleading with him. So he reluctantly packed everything and left the city with them.

Doctor Saab discovered it was Akash's bike and told Udayveer first about it. Udayveer did his own investigation and reported to everyone that Akash had left the city.

Meanwhile everyone took turns awaiting the time when Manyata would awaken from the medically induced coma required so she could heal from her injuries. It took a few days. Udayveer would sit beside her whenever he could and wait for her to grasp his hand or even to wake up and glare at him.

Brijraj decided to sit with her one day. He thought he saw some movement but then her heart rate leveled off again. Udayveer sensed she was fighting something within herself and decided to take over. He sat down beside her. Komal watched as her daughter's heart rate increased. Then to everyone's elation her eyes began to open again. He moved his hand towards her fingers. She suddenly lurched awake.

He was taken aback for the first time since the day he first saw her scar after losing her sixteen years ago. Shocked and stunned were things that happened since then, but the feeling he had now could not be described.

She looked around the room. Reality sunk in. If Akash had loved her he would be here now.

Instead her eyes met with his.

"Manyata welcome back," he whispered now back to his composed self.

"Kya hua mere saath?," she asked.

Brijraj and Komal exchanged concerned looks. Dadisa entered the room and immediately hugged her. In the coming minutes she was given their version of the story. But one thing rang true. Akash was gone from her life now.

"There is one truth in Manyata's life now. Aur woh hain hum," Udayveer thought to himself.

He was by her side throughout her recovery. Her therapy was overseen by him. Nothing was done without approval from him or Dadisa.

Manyata lay in her hospital bed the night before her discharge.

Udayveer came to see her before heading home to get some sleep. He sensed she was upset. However this was the way things must be.

" Manyata, tomorrow Unnati and a team will come help you get ready to return home. There may be some press reporters around, but I will take care of it," he stated.

She merely nodded as she looked out the window. He rather she yell at him or at least look in his direction. He could not do the one thing she wanted. For if he gave in now he would lose her and the throne of Devghar forever. Besides he was Udayveer Singh and he would never admit defeat.

The next morning a team of people flocked behind Unnati. The hospital room turned from quiet and lonely to world wind of activity. She was dressed in a baby pink outfit. She was handed a pair of sunglasses and covered with a shawl as she was led to the waiting royal car. She ducked her head into it as reporters rained on with their questions and trying to get a good look at her. She felt someone's warm hand on her shoulder. She was surprised for a moment but realized it was Udayveer. He was dressed in black and also wore sunglasses. He showed her barely any expression as he closed the door after she was seated.

She sighed as the door closed behind her. She sat back and took a deep breath. She was startled when the door opened and he sat down beside her.

"Chalo driver," he stated firmly.

They arrived at the palace. She slipped on her sunglasses again. The ride had been quite unlike the first time he had brought her here. There was a welcome home lunch and puja planned for her today. She realized when she stepped back in the rajmahal. Komal did her aarti. Dadisa and other elders blessed her and Unnati led her to her room.

" We'll come get you for the puja when it starts," Unnati assured her.

The puja started. Manyata was puzzled as to why Udayveer had escorted her back and yet was now missing.

"He never leaves me alone that easily," she thought to herself.

Suddenly she felt someone sit on her other side. She looked to her left and saw him there, now dressed in a white kurta and pajama.

He gave her a brief glance before they both turned to face the priest. After the puja was completed, Manyata went to her room. She wondered why she didn't feel at peace now. Something felt fishy.

Udayveer came to her room, pretending to knock, but instead sticking his head in first to test the waters. Sensing it was safe to enter now, he took a few steps into the room.

"Hello princess," he chirped in his usual style.

She turned swiftly to face him. He saw a frown but this time instead of anger it was more of puzzlement.

He turned grave.

" Kya hua Manyata?," he asked concerned a bit now.

"Kuch theek nahin lagra hai. Is everyone hiding something from me?," she inquired.

He paused not wanting to say something to ruin his chances of getting the upper hand.

"Bolo Udayveer!," she demanded.

He looked at her firmly and grabbed her arms gently.

"Look princess I have no idea what you are talking about. The doctors cleared you as fit and fine," he stated.

She gave him a frustrated look and tried to walk away. He pulled her back and looked into her eyes. His eyes told her what she needed to know. This was her life now. Her past had gone too far away to come back to her anymore.
