uday n manatya were enaged as kids so uday always considered manatya as his queen first because of the money since she is the elder daughter of brijraj and second i believe he always had a soft corner for manayta n he is attracted to her but not in love. uday is only interested in manatya n he just plays around with jaynandini or teases her. he will fall in love with her in future when they will manayta n uday will know each other better.
