Absolutely! Plus it's more frustrating that he is silent all the time! The makers don't find it very necessary to explore his POV.. Don't know why. But yaah Mannat is resentment is not unnatural but it's rather the way she presents her resentment. As an audience it becomes difficult to connect with her.. In fact it is difficult to connect with anybody in this show.. The only person I connect with and that too barely is Dev and to an extent Ranvijay. The script is a major let down.
Yeah ...I'm glad Jaideep overheard the conversation between Dev and Satpal. Thing is even he tells the truth to Mannat she would not believe him at the moment because she resents Dev and is blind sighted with hatred towards him. Dev understands where her anger is coming from...he knows she didn't like him to begin with and now given the circumstances under which Jeet died she blames him so he has willfully become her punching bag because that way she is at least letting her emotions out. Obviously it's wrong and selfish too because she is not the only one who lost Jeet. His family lost him too..right now she cannot look beyond her own grief and Sakshi, Babita etc are making it even more difficult for her to see anything remotely positive in this marriage. She had no time to grieve or mourn Jeet's death... So it's all adding up...I wanna see more Dev Mannat scenes ...he is a changed person now.. she is bound to notice that sooner or later ..Rudra may actually expedite things in that direction lol
