A good few years ago, my friends arranges a hen night for me

(Hen night is a girls party arranged ususally by friends of the bride just before she gets married - lots of fun and frolics!)

It was held at a prominent cabaret club in Soho, London which I quickly discovered to be run by transvestites.

Soem of these transvestities had bodies and looks exactly perfect - as we girlies would want - tall, slim and very sexy.

However it then dawned on me that these were men!

The conclusion?

Women want to look like men! πŸ˜† Or do they?? πŸ˜•

It is a well known fact that several international designers have or have expressed a preference for transvestites to model their clothes - because they "hang " better........

Girls - be happy woth your curves!!!! πŸ˜ƒ Its what makes girls girls, and boys...transvestites.....and size 0s...not!

Lol, those actresses represented more like common women at that time, besides my point was just because they were on healthier side never prevented me from enjoying and liking their movies, maybe it does to some people. πŸ˜†

What is ideal size for you depends on your body frame as well. Like Maya said, Chinese girls look absolutely healthy in their size 0 frames and for some with broader frames, 8-10 might be good. But yes, for most Indians size 0 is not their ideal frame.

I would rather not be size 0 but be healthy to carry on my daily errands and have more energy in life.

Also I have seen people who have lost too much weight by not eating loose the glow on their face and often appear 5-10 years older than their actual age because of the wrinkles on their face that start showing early.

As one of my friend's mom says for her size 0 daughter - "isko to kapda bhi rota hai" πŸ˜†πŸ˜† as in she is so thin that none of the clothes suit her anymore, specially Indian outfits cause she looks like a skeleton in them.
Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone cause some people might naturally have a frame like that, but this was more for people who starve themselves to be there.

Women and young girls have always been obsessed with their weight. Years ago, everyone wanted the Marilyn Monroe look i.e curvy, but nowadays it's all about being thin (size 0) and this is mainly due to the media and entertainment industry.

It's difficult not to obsess over your weight when every size 0 model/actress is constantly in the spotlight and praised for their look. At the end of the day, these women are seen as role model's to the younger generation, but what is important to understand is that skinny and size 0 does not suit everyone, it depends alot on your height and bone structure.
