If you knew how to make an undetectable weapon which could be used both for self-protection and for terrorist attacks on airplanes, would it be ethical to manufacture and market it?

The answer to me is obvious, as soon as you mentioned it could be undetected and used for self protection.....

quite how it would protect someone's "self", I'm not sure.....

actually other questions also arise like, undetected by what????

But the answer is still yes - for as long as there is demand for an unmet need.
