Life is a coin which has two sides.. If you find happiness, sadness comes along with it.. Similarly, if there is a development, then a threat is also associated with it.. There are ways to find out the threat.. But we cannot help when those talented people themselves are reasons for the threat!!

Its human who develop things.. Unless and until these development are used for the benefits there are no worries.. But human needs to change himself.. Unless that happens, he himself is a threat to other humans and nature!!

So you say that we need not pity the people/nations which bring home problems by their developed knowledge..like global warming, like nuclear technology hazards.....So you say balanced use of anything is harmless😊

Yes, a developed nation where people have high living standards are more likely to be peaceful. There is no question!

Then what about higher crime rates in well developed nations😛

Ironically though, often people from poorer societies show more interest in politics then people from richer societies who are more interested in reality television then political shows.

So perhaps people from "developed" economies can learn from those in the "developing" world.

Oh! Such a sweet reply..I agree with you regarding this point😊

Freedom and power are great for development of nations and people. It is when they get whacked out of balance and not restrained, we see events as you decribed above Myth.

Wellsaid😊...after all "Ati sarvatra varjeyet"..if there is lot of freedom there is a chance of misuse and if there is no freedom there will be a chance of revolt.

1. Not necessarily - How do we define safety ? If strictly means security related then percentage of security standards in developed country can be more the developing countries, but can be zeroed either ways.

2. Development should be the per capita income in the country should be enough to not only attain basic needs but have a joyfull day to day life, law enforcement should be strict and ample, standard of living should be stable, balance betwenn competitiveness plus growth in professional areas...oh mann there are many...lolssssss BTW NO developed country or ways we think development of nation should be, can ensure there is no loss of human lives for abc reasons...

Nice definition of development👏
