Really shocking news just came in...

Benazir has been assasinated. Its all over news channels here. There was a blast near her too..several dead. Earlier there was firing on Nawaz Sharif's convoy.

So what do you think is going to happen now? Thing are looking bleak now.

It's shocking indeed! Don't know what the exact fallout will be, but one thing is for sure - Pakistan will be reeling under more violence in the days to come. No elections on the 8th, that's a certainty.

Terribly shocking news. As SholaJoBhadkey said, the taunted spirit in the country is sure to bring forth more violence. I am watching the news, and it's looking like there's going to be a meltdown. The political system might just me in the state of coma for a bit, getting under control the reprecussions of the event.

yeah things look bleak now, not that she was going to do anything to make it better. Dont know much about Pakistan politics to tell if she represented the dawn or dusk

Shocking Indeed. It looks and sounds horrible. But I am not much up with politics in Pakistan so can't really give my opinion.

But what a sad and bad way to die 😳 May god rest her soul in peace.

I wonder who could be after her assasination?????

It is really a sad news. May her soul rest in peace.
Butto family unfortunately is kind of target of such acts. Her father was executed due to political issues. One of her brother was murdered , her second brother was killed and now she is assassinated
