at bold - Thats a problem alrigh, one cannot blindly go on that assumption, being trustworthy yourself doesn't imply one can trust the opposite party. Its a mutual effort step by step and can be initiated from either parties based on who is worth ( identify on past experience, few more criteria and gut feeling), the one who can trust you and the one who you can trust.

I agree with your point, it will be a mututal effort. But the most important point is as Dude 80 and Anu Rad said You yourself become trustworthy. You can become trustworthy but can not make or force another person become trustworthy.

Most important point is well understood, thanks!😳 .just don't make a golden rule that being trustworthy one can earn trust...... orelse one day the real meaning of trust will be lost in one's life. It's complex then it sounds, simple eg. someone trusts you with a secret of wrong doing...one has to verbal about it upfront in best interest of person who trusts you..vice versa.

friend, If the wrong doing is not a serious one and not effect another pereson I will not tamper the trust vested upon me. And if it is a serious one enough to cause danger to other people then I have to report it. It is my duty to the people/nation.

I agree with you in bold green. But being trustworthy doesn't mean helping wrong doings.

@ bold red I can not agree with qwertyesque in this case, for me a friend never arise the feelings descibed by him. I am always confortable with a true friend.

Yep..Trust probably is one of the most powerful things...Try telling Someone that you Trust them and they (at least most) will try their best to never lose it...
