Both are different forms of entertainment...People did enjoy Saawariya, I did!!!...I watched it 3 times already in the theaters and am willing to go again, if only I got company😆...

I think people like you are SLB's last hope..

You know about the deal right? watch it over 300 times and he will gift you a portable dvd player..with a strap so that you can watch it wherever you go....😆

people like u are so rare... 😆😆😆...

Also the reason it is in news is because of some towel merchandize... of Ranbir.!!!! good for sony, movie sey paise nahi mile toh towel aur chaddi bech key break even hone ki koshish ho rahi hai!!!!😆

🤣Wherever I go, so that I can spread good cinema around and to people like you, who go around doing muft ka publicity, without even watching the movie😛.

people like u are so rare... 😆😆😆...

I know😆...Meaningful cinema watchers are in minority, these days...😉😳

That shows, let alone watching the movie, you are not even reading anything remotely connected to Saawariya...The above statement is surely your neighbor's aunt's distant cousin's distant nephew's wife's third brother's friend's mom's imagination...😆

😆 Heres for your eyes only...I would have given the link.. I just didnt want anyone to miss this just cause they are too lazy to click on that linkAlso pantalloons, big bazaar are not really .my distant aunts imagination....😆

After the Dhoom bikes and little jaadus made famous by Koi Mil Gaya, or vice versa, it's now the turn of Om Shanti Om and Saawariya. The Sonam-Ranbir Kapoor starrer may not be finding many a taker at the theatres with first day ticket sales at only 40%, but Saawariya-branded merchandise at retail stores like Big Bazaar and Pantaloon are fast going off the shelves. "Since last week, we have sold over 6,000 Saawariya branded white towels, bedsheets and curtains at Big Bazaar. We are also seeing quick turnaround in sales for Saawariya fashion merchandise at Pantaloon," says Rajan Malhotra, CEO, Big Bazaar. "The demand for Saawariya merchandise is coming from customers who want to go in for objects that are as visually appealing as those in the movie. In the second and third week of the movie's release, we expect the sales to double," he adds. Competitor Shoppers' Stop too is witnessing a huge demand for retail merchandise of Om Shanti Om. According to Shoppers' Stop managing director BS Nagesh, "Retail stock keeping units of Om Shanti Om is contributing significantly to our sales during this Diwali. Our normal sales usually grow by over an additional 50% around this time of the year." Last month, Shoppers' Stop and the movie together launched a fashion show wherein the star cast showcased their looks from Om Shanti Om. Both the retailing giants are retailing clothes and merchandise inspired from the film at their stores across India. The trend, which started with Madhuri Dixit's much-famous Didi Tera Dewar Deewana purple saari, has become a hit with big-ticket movies. Ramgopal Varma introduced ghost dolls to coincide with his movie Bhoot as film merchandise.

The recent big movie franchises were Hrithik Roshan's Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Dhoom and Dhoom 2.

Watching it here in US multiplex is like watching the cnn news... pin drop silence and if a baby cries.. somebody calls the guard and the poor family has to go home... people watching movies here are just boring, drab, lifeless and dont know waht...no sities, no coin tossing, and those special comments -.. such movies are to be watched only in bombay theatres,...

One of the noticeable part of farah's direction was those period banner ads in teh background for ovaltine and exide, sholay... Never knew ovaltine was ever in india.. thought it was only bournevita and complan...😆

100% agree with u😛.......India is so lively👏 & Indians truly know how to celebrate life in spite of all difficulties😊........I just loved OSO😛.........its superb😛.......I even did not watch the movie in multiplex like inox or Fame (sophisticated audience😆).......I watched it in a local theatre with my mom & sis😆........& my mom was so surprised to find me & my sis screaming wildly with the crowd😆……I was feeling like my college days😉……It was a superb diwali pataka for me👏…….I enjoyed almost very scene of OSO😆……I find some people are telling like "OSO is for the desi (they are foreigner I think😆) people"…….yup I am a desi gal through & through & celebrated this diwali with OSO😆…….

& one more thing.........the last casting scene of OSO is my best scene👏.........I have not watched a movie where spot boys & helpers are also shown......Its truly Indian😛......Thanks Farha from the bottom of my heart for that👏

I found OSO's first half absolutely hilarious...and the second half a bit of a drag Its like the director managed to evaporate all the fun she had managed to create in the first half! The introduction of the look alike of SRK, then the look alike of Deepika and then suddenly the Bhoooot of Deepika, erm went a bit ...over the top I think. I love Farah Khan's sense of humour, and I had loved Main Hoon Na, but now, if I have to choose between both, it would still be Main Hoon Na. But overall....its a nice, keep-the-brain-home-n-go-watch movie....anyday! 😆 😆

Saawariya is totally artsy as many have said it. Needs to be appreciated on a completely different level and frame of mind. There is a lot to love in that movie and appreciate as well. Especially the music...its brialliant and weaved nicely along with the script 😊

Personally....both the movies were OK for me. Also takin into consideration the huge expectations from them and the build-up that was going on before their releases, nah, they both didn't live up to all that babble. Nothing much to keep yapping about for long.
