I know you guys will suggest the Bollywood section, but the crowd there are more excited about commercially successful/ big star-cast movies.

I have no idea whom to contact here with this idea, can someone help me.

That is a good suggestion. I am all for it. Let us wait for Raj/Javs/Sowmyaa's take on it.

I think it is fine because it would be a discussion on a good movie. We can get different perspectives of the storyline.

one of my friends mentioned this to me and my reaction was what? i had hopes from oscar but if they keep doing what filmfare does, then it will be soon that oscar would lose its quality. first of all what was so special about eklavya? the movie was short? is that the reason its going to oscars? 😕 😕 😕

@maya, i will try to see if i can find guru, the thing is that regional movies are hard to find i agree with chak de india, that movie should go to oscars, most bollywood movies revolve around glamour, only few are made with purpose and if that is also sidelined, then its quite sad

there was konkana sens movie with shabana, dont remember the name, but it was a movie of last year, such movies should go to oscar if they really want a movie to be sent, that movie was far more thought provoking than eklavya. i wouldnt mind if traffic signal was chosen too but eklavya? 😕 😕 😕

Factoring out "hell mey" per COC, I agree what's so big about oscars, care about financial gains for movie release.

The movie with Konkana Sen and Shanbana Azmi is 15th Park Avenue I liked that movie a lot, it had a very touchy story 😛That movie made me 😭 so much and Konkana was amazing in that movie, she is a damn good actress very natural.

I don't know why only commercial movies are sent, we have a lots of nice regional movies which are not at all given their due recognition.
