I personally feel that a good debate is the one in which ...where the participants all are of good knowledge and good attitude where each debator is forced to think all the times and where we make our opponent confused and rethink about his /her points with our sensible points😊 and arguments..!!
In bad debate...when the debators donot have stuff to prove.. then..they destroy the debate by bringing unnecessary elements like attitude ,personal attack and all other stuff and interestingly we have'nt seen such debates in DM yet😛
In a nut shell good debate is like Verbal Kabbadi..played by professional players😛

World history proves that sticky issues are sorted out by war and conflict and not the debate - Kauravs vs Pandavas, Rome vs everybody else and World wars etc.
You are never going to be able to convince the skeptics but on personal level debating is theraputic. It lets you trace and examine your own arguements and innermost beliefs...which may have been formed in conscience.

But I enjoy debates that are informative, humorous and sincere.

Ditto! Specially Sourav! nice article to share, was very informatic. Thanks!
