Mistake, no matter how grave it is, is considered a mistake the very first time you make it unintentionally. the moment you repeat it...it's no longer a mistake. it is negligence. This is my thinking for both professional as well as personal mistakes. Has served me good so far 😊

I am 100% with you on this one. When mistake is repeated I call it a habit 😳

yes, savere ka bhoola can always get back home in the evening. just might not be his home though. 😛 after all, what if the girl kicks him out and sends him to the dog-house? wont be the same home, na? now really, how many of you fine ladies would take the loser back? see what i meant? 😆

oh, and some folks might not even be so lucky. ever try having yourself run over by one of the blueline killer buses? bud, there's gonna be no shaam ka ghar there. it's straight to the hospital, that too if you're lucky 😉

that said, i'd still bet on a fella who's scored a few sorry ducks. boy's got to sow some wild oats after all before he hits the century, no? how else will he ever learn? proof is how some folks turned out- not too shabbily, wat say? 😛

Agreed.

"A lesson not learned is a mistake repeated." (Not my words, title of an article, hence quoted) You won't repeat the mistake if you truly understand your fault.

In an ideal world we can say that by ignorance we mistake and by mistakes we learn but there are situations when a mistake is unpardonable only because the result was severe. In most other cases a repent or confession from the person would suffice. There is no justification for a repeated mistake.

Mistakes are mistakes and crimes are crimes.....

Ideally mistakes should not be taken seriously in professional world by bosses... indeed they should ecourage people NOT to make mistakes and give trainings... basically utilise the strong points of the employees.....

Crimes are unpardonable.... but we normally see that employees are punished for mistakes and they lose confidence in company, morale is down and they later start talking against company... dont work properly saying that mistakes are punished but achievements never rewarded....

so in management... few mistakes shall be pardonable i think 😊

it's a competitive world out there. if you had two employees- one who had mucked up and one who had not, who would you give the bigger raise to?😉

think carrots here, not sticks.😛

If you were a manager and had to lay off one, who would you choose😉

Look at that from an employee end, you know you screwed up and there are layoffs coming😉
