The preference is very individualistic and dependent upon what kind of adult life one has. But for me there is no substitute for years of knowledge , experience, wisdom and money.😃

After all that is said and done you as an adult lose the innocence that you had when you were young IMHO.

To add to that I say enjoy every part of life be it child, teenager, adult, midlife and being old. We always want to hurry up and get older when we are young and when we get older we want to go back to being young again 😳 Actually old people do become like kids all over again 😆

Well yes but one can still posess the innocence while having gained wisdom and experience. It is not mutualy exclusive of each other. As adults we all like rain, play with the kids, fun vacations and find joy in small and simple stuff. The toys are different but the joy never ceases. The only thing different when adult is the responsiblities of everyone around us.

😆😆😆 so true😛

I, personally, am very content at the stage of life I am now. neither too young nor too old, neither too dependent nor too independent......just right😊

True but one thing I cant do which I did as a kid is take off my pants and run around the house naked..and being fondly ignored. Childhood is one bright thing in otherwise tense, worrisome, debating, wallowing, arguing, fighting, struggling, laughing, crying thing called life...😆... Growing up is total death of "true" innocence...

we're all assuming here that everyone's childhood was absolute bliss.....that is not always the case. a lot of kids do not have very loving memories of their childhood.

i am extremely happy where i am right now. i love being independent and having the right to live my life the way i want to.

sure there is a lot more stress as an adult but you are also better equiped to deal with the stress as you get older.

i wouldn't trade these days for anything.

And I would not trade this day of being Dadi for anything 😛 I rather see the little one grow up in front of my eyes 😊

I don't want any images entering in my mind now..😳 Sure you still can run around the house naked. just make sure your webcam is turned off...!!!!

What you never did all that in childhood? 😆 Growing up is total death of "true" innocence... Yeah and getting to be 40 yrs old is death of sanity..!!!! I have seen "innocent" children steal, bully , cheat , blackmail and do all sorts of things. They say Baalak bhagwan kaa swaroop hota hai upto first 5 yrs only..

Ears of toddlers are connected too 😆😆.. The reason why they need to hear a "NO" again and again and some more 😆😆.. I love my friends's kids the most when they are toddlers.. That's why I said that ..

I din't enjoy my teen years at all 😭. Nasty jealous gals made me cry all the time with their evil mind-games. "We should take off the sprinklers in lawn unless you plan to become strong" is what my dad used to tell me! Things got better in college, thank God!
