Childhood is one bright thing in otherwise tense, worrisome, debating, wallowing, arguing, fighting, struggling, laughing, crying thing called life...😆... What you never did all that in childhood? 😆 Growing up is total death of "true" innocence... Yeah and getting to be 40 yrs old is death of sanity..!!!! I have seen "innocent" children steal, bully , cheat , blackmail and do all sorts of things. They say Baalak bhagwan kaa swaroop hota hai upto first 5 yrs only.. the point is everything that happens in childhood happens in the domain of innocence and should looked at that way.. that innocence is lost... i not pulled my pants but there was a bunch of 6 year old streakers... then one of the group would smoke a discarded cigarette..at 10..break window panes a run away.. knock doors and disappear.. i mean with all trials and tribulations and lack of control.. that period is great provided you have loving parents.. 😊

It is innocent when a child does it the first time at very young age , but after 7 years of age or so every child knows basic right from wrong and if they break windows or smoke cigarettes repeatedly it is not cute.. Lack of control is exactly the reason I don't care to revisit childhood.

@ Gauri.. Being mischievious is one thing (and I have done it too 😳) but being mean and causing damage or harm in childhood is not being innocent.

I second that Lighty!
I cannot stand such children and wish I were allowed to spank them and whack their parents a little 😛.

LH thats the difference... bet; india and US.. India people have more tolerance to kids. Here its not so true.. Like in mumbai you can get away by throwing water baloons on holi.on passersby All this fun happens within limts and you are not a nuisance.. but all this happenings are not intentional.. u break the panes wehn u play cricket....there are a lot such things..
Try applying for assistant professorship in a top class university with a BS . Even PhD is not suficient. I did not like the wink and derogation, hence wrote this .
what derogation? 😕 I was kidding, and pun intended. Knowledge is power, but knowledge can be used in positive or negative ways. 😕 And why would I belittle people with phd and post-docs? I intend to go for one myself. 😕
