I would completely agree with you on that. However, the pamphlets that I have usually collected don't provide information about the other religion but rather conveys a message of how there is only ONE way not to burn in hell.. The way often suggested pretty much contradicts other religious beliefs.. and hence I fail to see the mutual resepect to other religion in such pamphlets.

Your thought is nobel and I support it, but my experience with collecting these pamphlets makes me say the above.

PS- I clearly don't mean to offend anyone. Few of my best friends and non-Hindus.

Understand your point! @bold part - I just ignore the contradiction to religous beliefs, its part of what I call respect and move forward to understand with what is been conveyed and why?. Infact such things further deepens my religious beliefs, if you know what I mean😊. Not getting into one religion Vs other, bas I won't stop people from doing that, let them what suits thier thing for thier religion, doesn't impact me personally.

Oh, come on Holy Tirumala, I understand is holiest place with all due respect, but why should there be restrictions when we talk to about equality, religious unbiasing, human rights, equal oppurtunity. Do our holy God, would be concerned about it, Nah! Is there a mention of such restriction in shastra's. This is all human created boundaries, yes I adhere to religious norms of community but at same time won't support such restrictions.

But again, you don't represent majority worshippers at the temple. At the temple, not everyone can read & ignore how their way of life could send them burning in hell 😆.. You and even I could ignore, but can all? and why should they? Temple is where people seek peace :) Not controversies.. 😆

😆 I know, did you read my responses on this one are personally, I, IMHO, IMO lolss instead of generically address responses here😉 In God's house, we don't seek peace but infact automatically get peace, yet disrupt the peace with feeling of controversies, heyy Bhagwan! 😆😆

i feel 1 has the rite 2 protect his religion. will any muslim agree if v distribute bagwadgita in mecca or christian agre 4 conversions in rome.

Hi Tulasi ji ! Welcome to DM !

Nice topic!

The tolerance of Hinduism is being mistaken or misued by others!!

Eveything has its beauty if it is in limits!

When one goes to tirupathi they shoul enjoy the beauty of Hindu culture!

When one goes to Mecca they need to enjoy the beauty of Islam culture!

When one goes to Vatican they need to enjoy the beauty of Christian culture!

If they donot do so they need to be respectfully told to do so by legal methods!

Cheers,

Mythili

i think to convert people to diff religion is only wrong if they them selves want ot do it with their own wish they themselves come for changing their religion then its ok.
but i think there is a time and place for evry thing. preeching christianity in a temple and that to tirupati balaji is really a weird thing to do.
when people have gone their to worship a hindu god then wht sense does it make to try to convert them to chrishtianity?

I agree with Raj here.... it depends on how u take the opprtunity.....

A person came to my home to give lecture on their religion and belief on yeshu..... My dad gave him lecture on bhagvadgeeta, even moer than what he did with us.... He never came to our gully again 😆

so u can take opportunity to spread ur religious beliefs in them 😉
