Yes I can...I can talk to him about my dreams and fantasies,BF, that money spent on the shoes and so much more...I can get emotional with him, I understand his feelings even before he said anything, just like he can about mine...This is a public forum, that's why I am not able to get into detail about what friends I have and how our relationship is..that;s why its kind of tough for me when you were all saying that a platonic kind of relationship between a guy and a girl is not possible...What is S*x?Its just an act, nothing more...What is so big deal about it...Frienship is beyond these feelings..Its just not bookish and it exists in real life..I am a living example of that...

A father-daughter, Mother-Son, Brother-Sister relationship is first bonded with something called blood and they don't meet up as friends. In my humble opinion one cannot compare these blood relations to platonic relationships.

I am not sure about others who agree with me, but I don't talk of such things with girl-friends either. Who cares how much money I have spent on my shoes? Maybe cause I am not too girly, it is easier for me to percieve a platonic friendship between a guy and a girl. No touching involved, and by emotional intimacy... I only meant sharing feelings, and thoughts! Anybody says something.... feelings have to be involved in it, be it a talk about your career, friends, or life in general. Topics like sex, fantasies, boy-friends .... they are off-limits for me; they are off-limit for me with girls, too. The way I look at it... such a relationship rests on respect, admiration, and child-like affection, and caring nature of individuals. NOTHING sexual about it.

ok, now am really off.... hw is not getting done on its own. 😡

S*x is just an act for the animals not for us human beings...that is what seperates us from the animals....thats why we have an institution called marriage...

Raunaq, I didn't say a girl and guy cannot be friends. Ofcourse they can be but there are limits. As I once mentioned in platonic relation thread if for eg: a married woman is too close to a guy to share even the intimate details of her life which she don't even mention to her husband then that is not healthy and crosses the limit of friendship. We can argue all we want but there is a certain barrier when it comes to guy and girl friendship.

But weren't we discussing about being best friends.😕 Otherwise everyone has friends and even close ones from the opposite sex.
