Agree with everything and someone like me who has experienced colour related insults since the age 6 can relate with this . I mean who gave random people the right to call someone ugly especially to a teenager .What sadistic pleasure people get by insulting someone's appearance?

She's just 20 and the way she is handling harsh critisism with such maturity is truly commendable. Doesn't matter who your father is, you can't escape racism. I am so proud and happy about the ways she's handling it.

Even with her writing tone. She doesn't sound pissed or angry nor her tone is condescending. She just wants people to accept her as she is and shes happy being who she is. You go girl!! You are beautiful and I love you❤️

Agree with everything she said .. Having faced colorist remarks cos of dark complexion I can safely say it’s high time we speak up against this prejudice that only fair skin is pretty or you have to meet certain criteria to be considered Pretty ..

Good for her. Hope she doesn't touch her beautiful melanin skin with any skin lightening treatments in the future as well.

I felt really awful for Nysa when I read some of the comments directed at her. Much worse than what Suhana has been subjected to. The end result? Girl looks A LOT different now. Surely the colorism and 'ugly' comments got to her. But what will the lil girl do when she's learning how undesirable her skin tone from mother dearest herself. Kajol was suddenly lighter by X10 shades one find day and said it's an effect of stay indoors LOL.

My sister used to face the colour related insults and still facing it after so many years. I am so called light skin coloured and my relatives from my dad's side used to mock my sister over it " Dekh teri behen kitni gori hai " It was beyond disgusting and shameful. Used to tell all this behind my father and mother's back. It still breaks my heart.

Very mature post about racism.Keep up the spirit girl

Also on comments calling her manly, well honestly she will look like her parents only,in this case her father.

The maximum we can do is take care of our body as a whole.Very easy for faceless social media users to spread hate.
