Don't be so blind as a fan that you don't see the obvious faults of your idol.

Also, this isn't about Priyanka. It is about almost every celebrity out there. So don't take this as a personal attack on Priyanka.

It’s impossible to speak on every issue in the world/India/US so in that case everyone is “selective woke.” I guess you focus on what people don’t do and I focus on what they do like when Priyanka spoke out against banning Pakistani artists and when she helps Muslim refugees.

Not advocating anyone to speak on every issue. But there are movements like this one, Black Lives Matter, where everyone is expected to speak up and stand in solidarity with Black people. Pakistani artists issue is still trivial because those artists can still find work elsewhere and continue to live. But when the existence of a community is threatened only due to sheer prejudice and discrimination, that's when every voice should speak up. Because it's a matter of life. There are no ifs and buts here.

Also, like I said again, when you invite fascists to your wedding and promote them, you make it clear where you stand. Priyanka has made her stand clear. It's just that people are calling her out on her hypocrisy now, which cannot be hidden anymore.

Sonam is correct that these celebs shouldn't be commenting on another country's problems when they are too cowardly to speak up for similar issues in their home country, BUT Sonam is selectively woke all the time and has no right to point fingers.

Sonam supports Me Too, but not when it comes to Raju Hirani. She supports laborers, but her husband's family's company exploits them (source below). She calls herself a champion of LGBTQ+ rights, but promotes tourism in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. I can't take anything the woman says seriously!

Modi was invited to the Delhi reception by her mom because her mom is a big BJP supporter and he actually showed up like he did at Virat and Anushka’s wedding. So Virat and Anushka have no rights to speak up on anything ever again? Aishwarya has no right to speak on anything again after her picture with Israeli PM.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Again, neither Anushka Virat nor Aishwarya get a free pass either. They're all equally complicit in all this.

This isn't about Priyanka alone. Look at the bigger picture.

Same! Can't take her seriously when her in law's company has inhumane conditions for their employees. She should take the same advice of cleaning her house before speaking about others. It's hypocrisy meets more hypocrisy in her case, if she gains an iota of self awareness about her contradictory views, I would be shocked and surprised.

Because she hasn’t experienced it but the matters which she is aware of she always voices on SM unlike many other celebs.

When ppl like Zaira Wasim have a right to speak on whatever they are comfortable with , then why not the others have the same right to not speak on the matters they are not comfortable with.
