Answer one question.
If a man accused you of sexual hassement, how would you feel if everyone condemned you on social media before you said anything or before anything was proven against you?

There is something called context. If men and women were truly equal which is when you could pose this question to me by reversing the sex, then you wouldn't have the need to pose this question to me in the first place. Think about it.

The fact that Alok Nath is condemned and Kangana is praised should answer your question.
Even Sexual offences of women are applauded.

It is like Aitraaz scene: If a man slaps a woman, our society thinks he must have done something wrong. If a woman slaps a man, our society thinks he must have done something wrong.

Actually, every time a woman says something, the first reaction is to say "what if it is a false accusation" or "why is she saying this now" or "she just wants publicity", so I don't know what feminist utopia you are living in because it is definitely not India.

The same feminist utopia where a woman gets called out and exposed sending unsolicited sexually explicit mails to a man, stalks a man, threatens to scar him, forges a group pic to slander him and yet called a "feminist" and given platforms to continue the harassment of the victim. For 3 years.

Her Bizarre cover up attempts of affair to engagement are accepted blindly with no proof or questions asked. She is never cornered for her despicable lies or statements - most of which are timed during her film publicity.

#MeToo is a failure as long as those like Kangana are roaming scot free and given support. Despite a truckload of proofs against them. The male victim is character assassinated for speaking up, for fighting for justice, age shamed, his talent mocked, his family dragged into the mud and what not. While, nobody bothers to look into the past history of stalking and perverseness of the accused woman. HE is asked for proof after proof after proof to show his innocence that he had nothing to do with his sexual harasser and stalker. Not the accused sexual offender because "she has a vagina re".

And yes, she is lucky India is a feminist utopia where there is no Law to prosecute women involved in stalking, sexual harassment, domestic violence etc. Even POSCO does not prosecute women criminals. A teacher was caught sexually abusing a kid and was given bail despite POSCO because she was a woman. In West, she would have been imprisoned for a life.

Judging someone on who is right and who is wrong when you know zilch itself doesn't make sense. But well, that's human nature. We have a habit of judging everyone, based on our perception and personal experience. It just takes one allegation and boom!!! Everybody becomes judge and passes judgement on either the accused or the victim!!! In case of celebrities, it happens more because they are public figures, and we common people think that we really know them.
Although, in these type of cases people mostly find the powerful person as guilty, because they have this notion that any girl can't just come out of nowhere and make a false allegation. But what the powerful person can really do other than shutting the girl's mouth with some money? He can't harm her because media is with her. Also Bollywood distancing itself from the accused isn't a sign of him being guilty either, because those people only think about their profit and loss. As MeToo is the current flavor of the season, supporting an accused sexual harasser will only result in them getting bashed.

At the same time, it's still not easy for a girl to say infront of the whole world, "that yes, I was sexually harassed!!!", because of the social stigma attached to it. We still live in a patriarchal society where men's wrongdoings are brushed under the carpet. Celebrity cases are different because their lives are always in front of camera, and their each and every move is judged.

Why people look at female gender with sympathy when talking about equality? Because "equality" is a myth. There's nothing called equality in this world. Never was, never will be. There will always be a community who will be discriminated, and that's why they deserve sympathy. Anyway, this sympathy doesn't mean much, because feminism mostly exists in textbooks even till today. Women still have to suffer in life.

And TM, if you were specifically talking about IF, then don't worry. People like to act like feminists here. They don't give a damn about who is guilty or who is not. If it had been their favorite actor in place of Hirani, they would've been on the other side.

Women r born manipulators. Thats why they are best for raising kids or using there talent for constructive purposes in genral . Coz ismain shakti ki nahi yukthi ki zaroorath hoti hai. U put the same smartness in distructive purposes u will get missusing of rape laws, divorce laws, fake harassment cases, manipulating metoo etc etc.
