Saudi one is interesting. I don't think ISIS will take credit or issue red/blue statements. This might be entirely different thing. There is a political tension in that area with Saudi Wahabis .

Well , the point of ISIS in Muslim populated areas especially Sunni dominated is to sell the perception that they are targeting Shias, Non-Muslims as major causalities -pattern be there in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia while even in Iraq like in Baghdad they targeted the Shia population because in Iraq they are mixed and in great numbers.Second bomb was in a mixed crowd. Turkey was bad hence you didn't see a more marketed sales pitch .

So the whole point is to have a moral obligation saying we are attacking "infidels" and get the appeal . AQ and ISIS basically are competing and AQ doesn\t like ISIS much hence this image perception is to lure out new base and to establish a network , heard they opened a branch in East Africa . Considering in Syria they have lost more than half of their territories .So they are trying to outsource to maintain their relevance .

It's hard to control their influence because they seem to market themselves better than AQ and their overseas popularity is increasing. Sounds morbid but thats how it is.

Bangladesh has detained the other 3 bangladeshis who were released by the terrorists for interrogation.Apparently one guy was a prof was seen talking before being released and taught in the Uni where one of the attackers was studying.

On a positive note, we are still better than the Era of World Wars, Nazis, Cold War and other shit.I am trying here. 😆

The allure of the big crowds, the publicity it generates and ofcourse the "sacrifice".

West has been very slow in not stopping the traffic towards Syria ..most of the bombers were on their radar yet they never properly pursued. Now IS looks at attracting youth by giving the sense of belong especially why you have rich kids who have partied all their life and are alienated, sell them the idea of "bigger cause" hate for West, work on their racism experiences and viola job done.

^^ Must read for every Muslim and Non-Muslim. This post clears the debate about why ISIS has something to do with Islam and how we need to get out of the victimhood .Also mentions why they target fellow Muslims.

Not going to "roll my eyes" at the cabinet expansion , only one name interests me. Lets hope how she changes up UP election narrative .
Also the rumours of Rahul Gandhi finally typing the knot with a girl from UP, what a timing!

Unfortunately for that reason, he's not much popular amongst the moderate Muslims, he is generally seen as an apostate, and the far right sees him as a covert jihadist. 😆

True, he is a very conflicted story which is why he makes a good read. Here is a guy who has seen it all, experienced and gives a good perspective but ofcourse he would be ignored. He is critical of liberals too and their PC behaviour.

I used to like Imran Khan , only as a player and thought of him as a fairly moderate person but he too for politics stooped to the usual silly religion-based narrative. Pak's Kejri.

I am critical of Modi govt. but first good decision they took by removing Smriti as HRD Minister and also changing the Law Minister. Nice one. Shifts the UP dynamics.
Two MoS for MEA -I might just enjoy this. 😆

HRD Ministery got 2 of it's minister's kicked out in 2 years.Sadananda Gowda moved from Railways to law and then now to Statistics since 2014. These two ministries need solid work. But really really happy Modi removed Smriti from HRD , she was such a farce .
