And here we go again, In the Name of God 😆

For this discussion, we must first prove there is God and what's God's role?

And if we are already assuming that God exists, we need to prove God's role for mankind (set rules, restrictions, etc)?

And if we are already assuming God's role is to keep peace and harmony among mankind, then we must prove why God's isn't doing it's job correctly?

And if we are already assuming that God isn't doing it's job correctly, then we need to prove who's next in line for that role and whom does the responsibility falls on? Humans?

Now tell me on which above assumption are we going to continue this debate ...

I would like to take my time and answer this question but for now I would like to say that IF there is a creator, a big IF, then the creation becomes the creator's responsibility.

Even if the pinnacle of evolution (read humans) are supposed to fend for themselves, there is unbelievable cruelty in the animal world, and historically speaking life suffered a lot to get to this point, which makes me go with option a ( that God should be held accountable for all the pain and suffering, again assuming there is a God)

Looks like we have a huge room for assumptions here.

My List.
-Assume that there is God.
-Assume the stand God would take in each problems we're facing.
-Assume where God draws his/her line regarding what's right and what's wrong, who should be punished and who should be left out and the like.
-As there are many religions around and hence plenty of Gods,we should make seperate assumptions for each of them according to their respective religion.
-If you consider there is only a single God whom different religions worship in different forms, matters get even more complex because then you would have to assume such a God whose viewpoint complies with all religious teachings alike.

Now,that's a lot to assume😆

Because there is suffering the question of God arises 😆
No one needs God when all is smooth like ice.

True ..when you are surrounded with all kinds of ideas and thousands of contradictions... there are bound to be doubts. ...I think all theories are fictitious...and Faith has become out of date... ..😊

Even then,I think most people who believe in God would still need God because they want their future to remain the same.

Fear of the unknown is the cornerstone of faith, if you ask me.

Constant fear and worry is common and faith in God does give peace of mind.
Sadness and sorrow in losing someone close makes us depressed and suicidal at times.
God comforts and counsels all quietly and unknown to us. Often his voice is drowned by our anger, hate and other negative thoughts.
I guess time comes when all must return back to the same source that gave it birth.

I think most of us must have had some Godly or unexplained "miracles" in our lives. This tends to build our faith.
This is often counteracted by those heartfelt prayers that apparently did not come true.
I believe God watches on silently ... and things that should happen will happen if we give it enough attention. Perhaps God does not just want us to keep asking for little worldly gifts but aim for greater spiritual wealth
