I agree with the highlighted sentence. 👏

Few years back there was this case in Kerala where a lady working in Calicut University complained of misbehavior from her colleague. He apparently did something very explicit (which I can't write here) in public and people kept quite. This lady lodged the complaint with evidence. But all of her seniors and rest of the colleagues asked her to let it go and even her husband and family was ashamed of this thing becoming public. But she was confident and had evidence too. Her husband left her, colleagues mocked her but she continued the case.

I don't know what the outcome of the case is but it is a pity that even educated women would support men when it comes to cases like this and blame it all on women. That is why we still have women burning other women in the name of dowry and sympathizing with men. Till women know her power and get guts to stand for herself the condition will remain pathetic.

Tell me how many cases you know where a woman came forward and got justice? It is very easy to quote some random incidents but in real world women still get harassed and they keep quite because others (mostly women) would be the first one to mock at them.

Are we talking about the security of men or that inner feeling about oneself called insecurity???Because both are as different as chalk and cheese.. 😕

i think feeling secure comes from belief in oneself, in one's ability/ personality to accomplish what one wants, and from the confidence that the failures ahead will not keep one down.

that belief is often validated when we are successful, but might not be if our success was due to random chance, or when we are too afraid to fall from our heights because we know we cant get back on our feet again, when we are too afraid to lose.

those feelings of security and insecurity exist imo in lots of relationships, not just man-woman, in both our personal and professional lives.

Men feel insecure only at a personal level for their women.. not professionally since I dont think men consider women to be direct competitor even if they are one.... So if a woman is getting promoted instead of the man they wont feel as insecure as when the woman they feel some affection, goes for his boss in matters of relationship...

In the world of men... insecurities are still in the world of the term "my woman" or "the woman" 😊
