This reminds me of story abt my hubby (V). This indian store that we go to rent movies from, there is this gentleman who is probably is abt my age. But he looks alot older than his age😳He definitely is younger than my hubby. And V always calls him Kaka when he talks abt Harshad bhai. Or he calls him Kaka I always tell V that he is not your uncle's age but just b/c he looks older you can't call him kaka 😆😆So sometimes we all act 🤪and 😳ourselves.

I turned 28 just 3 months back. When I was 27 a newly married lady called me aunty. I was 😲 because I didn't even look 27. Her reason I am a mother. Later I learnt she is 27 herself and few months older than I am. 😆

😆 i am so glad i am not the only one, that makes 3 now 😆 😆 😆 this is funny knowing about it 😆 😆 😆

My husband knows some people who are in their late 50's. Whenever we invite them over, it's hard for me to call them "auntie" or "uncle" as they are still my hubby's colleagues and he calls them by their names. I just add "ji" to their name and it works just fine.

I think we Indians go over the board with our "uncle" and "aunty".

....hey, and my neighbor's daughter....I had my kids call her AUNTY JI in a singsong high pitched voice 😆 poetic justice 😉
