Both Misbah and Afridi are too old and need to retire soon. Sri Lanka faces the same issue with over reliance on Sanga and Jaya. Despite our recent string of losses, India's advantage is a young team. Barring Dhoni everyone has a good 4-5 years at least. Once we get a reliable wicketkeeper batsmen, we should be off to team building. Sri Lanka and Pakistan have had so many issues, rebuilding after their seniors go will be harrowing.

I never did understand what girls found in him. I think our Bhuvi is a better looker.😳Afridi doesn't have a very likeable personality. Compare how humble Dhoni is after a win to Afridi and his 'rubbing it in your face' personality. That's one place I wish Kohli improves on. I really disliked Kohli when he started - not just as a MI fan but even for Team India, he was always me, myself and I. I wanna see him keep the aggression but drop the hot-headedness. Oh man, India sure would love for Jaya and Sanga to retire. Even at this age, they're such dangerous players. The level of consistency is amazing, just look at Sanga's recent form! My vision for Team India is to be a threat in the bowling department. Enough of this "India's batting vs Pakistan's bowlers." We're such a large nation with SO much talent and potential, how do we not have a half decent bowling attack?! :(

Ali Zafar is meh. He hasn't got a very charming personality. Mum said he was unbelievably boring and disinterested on CNWK which I personally find a little rude.

I like Kohli's aggression, but he does learn to keep it within the game. India is suffering from lack of experience and the bowler crisis. We have the talent, we are just not managing them right. Sanga's form and reliability is stupendous. Sri Lanka will miss him sorely when he retires.

I find Ali Zafar cute and funny. I like his sense of humor.

What in the world , Afridi is drinking , he never ever ages. I think his arrogance comes from the fact that he has had zillion issues with his board and also from his Pathan background. Personally , irrespective of this tournament , he should retire finally , his reflexes are not the same.

Kohli is talented and hard-working. But he lacks the temperament to lead, too emotional and lacks the calm composure. Dada had right aggression but he had Sachin and Dravid to guide him. Kohli has neither. He should be left to bat only and more focus should be in finding India's correct battling line-up.

Unfortunately we cannot produce long term fast bowlers in India. The pitches at Ranji level are not good for it. We have flat wickets, so you cannot have consistent fast bowling. another reason why the pacers like Ishant and Zaheer dropped their speed. Another would be good bowling coach at junior level. As much as we adore Srinath, Venky - India never did had a good genuine pace bowler like say Wasim Akram.

Love Sanga and Jaya, SL players have longevity .

With the looks of things India is least prepared for world Cup in Australia.

I adore Ali Zafar - his song - sun re sajaniya was such an addiction. Had a major crush on him during my college days. He acts decently well too!!

Meryl Streep is an institution but sometimes I feel she gets nomination by default, like this year. It should have been Emma Thompson in place of her.

@ As much as I detest Woody Allen , I cannot argue against Cate B's performance. The real protest should be for not financing Allen's movies and above all for a fair trial.

@Fashion - Kate Hudson, Amy Adams and Lupita shut it down for me. And how articulate is Lupita. love. Hope she gets good work.

I stopped following cricket a long time ago (around d time of the friendship series ...that was in '04 wasn't it?) So don't know about what afridi said against India (I bet it was around the time of IPL 2🤔)

But he is a pathan😆 and much as I bristle at stereotypes ...they do sometimes have basis in fact ...pathans -more often than not think lonng after they leap😆 I think hot blood runs in their veins ... aggressive ... passionate ...fierce ..blindly loyal... joshila pun as they say.

With afridi ... his inconsistencies put me off ... performances like today or d one against India r too infrequent for my liking. Too many instances where we needed him and he didn't delivered but over d years, he has turned into a genuine all rounder. During his loonnng dry spells batting wise, his balling has kept himbin d team ... and yeh it's time for him and Misbah to move on ... but I think this wont happen till after d world cup ... Misbah maybe but not afridi.

I m not too worried abt d rebuilding .. I mean fawad isn't exactly a debutant .. he has been around a while though he hasn't been in d team lately ... so I think we ll be fine

One thing is for sure ... that guy may have an average of 20 something but afridi will be a legend in pak cricket folklore ... more so thn d likes of Misbah and younis khan

@ali zafar ... lub him .. love his humor and the fact that he is well spoken and well educated (how rare is that?) Singer .musician .. painter *sigh*

Have u guys heard him live? As in those impromptu requests ?He sounds d same as in studio!

I was totally fangirling over him during MBKD promotions

I think Afridi and Misbah will stick around till after the WC. With WC less than a year away, it is a bad time to be making changes to the teams. Misbah I know will retire with grace. Afridi may stick around till he's dropped. IMO rebuilding is always a daunting task for South Asian teams due to corruption and politics. It has been worse in Pakistan.

Especially politics ... grrr I hate d camps within d team (and I really really dislike hafeez🤢 and akmal bros)

But they have been introducing young blood for d past few years so hopefully the transition won't be so too tumultuous.

Anyway we stopped depending on afridi a long time ago 😆 It's great when he gets going but there isn't a person here who trusts him

We ll really miss misbah 😭
