Different categories in school

Im not sure if everyone will understand what I am going to say but here goes.

Im going into grade 10 this year which means my second year in high school. I have noticed in my school..there are different classes of people. Just like IF, there are newbies, goldies, dazzlers, rockers, etc. So there are teens that are known as either the "cool people" "nerd group" and others in high school. The cool people are cool the nerd group is nerdy the snobby people are snobby, etc. I think you know what I mean.

My main point is..

Is it fair that there are different groups of people? Where you ever named a class? If yes did you like it?

itz not fair...but its natural...its done all over the world and during all generations...i dun think theres a cure 4 it

I told my one young friend here on I-F recently, my teacher at school once told me when i whined to her , she said "Life's not fair...boohoooo.........get over it !" At that time i was like 😲....then😡......then😭......then 😔 !!!

But Priya this is really life !! It never is fair. So no point asking are such different groups fair. They are every where !! In school, college, even when you work. And even within your social group. 😊

As for whether i was named in class. I may have been, but no one could mess around with me on my face so if it was behind me back. May be then ....i wouldn't care .....i wouldn't now!!😛

I was a Nerd. But, only my good friends called me that to my face; none of the "cool crowd" dared to do so. My friends say that its because I'm intimidating. 😕

In either case, groups in High School are overrated. They dont matter at all once you get to Uni. At Uni, NO ONE cares if you're a nerd, because they all have to be nerds to maintain their GPAs. 😛

Moreover, once you're in the workplace, its a whole different ballgame.

IMO, you're "cool" only if you are being yourself. 😊

I agree with Abhijit. He made a valid point. They are self defined groups. I know it's easy for us to say because some of us have gone through HIgh School experience already and now we are able to look back and analyze it. Just enjoy your High School years...don't worry about these cool bees. These years will fly by you before you even know it. Take few advanced courses, participate in school clubs, join a dance class or drill team, etc etc.. Your were not born to worry about others...you have your life to think about. Who knows...someone is looking at you and envying you for being so cool😉

NOw are you bothered due to a specific reason? Did some one say something to you?

Very true!! Until High School, people are too immature and they think its cool not to be the "nerd" ... but once you're in univ .. u better be a nerd otherwise u'll be sitting their on probabation cuz u cudnt maintain ur GPA trying too hard to be cool🤓

i find thate veyrone shold be together i mean they should be call cool people etcetc
everyone should be together and tak to one another and dont have a clan
