Oh but there is indeed a magic mantra tokeeping the Indian or rather Desi men happy - give him plenty of food, ignore when his tongue mops the floor at the sight of women in western clothes, treat even his irritating belches and farts as the most intelligent things you've heard,keep mum when he belittles your family and friends or pile more food in front of him - simple as that.

Instead of asking this question on the forum try the novel experience of asking the woman in question directly - whether Indian or not. Women are NOT "chabi-ki-gudiya" contrary to the perception at play here. There is no magic mantra.


Talk to the women in your life as equal partner, treat her with respect and demonstrate that in your actions, listen to what she is saying instead of simply hearing her words and if you are doing it right probably she'll tell you herself what makes her happy. If she doesn't tell you, you are not going about it the right way.
