Let's start with few:

How many Hindu people marry Muslims or Christians?
How many Indian people many black people?

A word of a caution, we are going down the lines of racism...

to answer your question, only a few people and the events leading up to the wedding have been hilarious and sad all at the same time. I will explain when I get home.

Those are some high calculations 😆

I guess the question is really about love; when you fall in love do you really look into race, caste, religion?

Personally speaking, I wouldn't want to marry somebody who is not an Indian - but that's my personal choice.

My brother's girlfriend is not an Indian and my parents don't care. I guess it depends from person-to-person.

I know that some people are really against this though. Like parents have resorted to blackmailing, emotional blackmail, not eating etc to make their children listen to them and marry somebody they think is "worthy"

I don't understand that

like I promised, I am back.
here it is:
About two years ago, my family and I took a trip down to England. Some of our days would be spent at a cousin's wedding. Him and his family were well off. Not particularly conservative either. He wouldn't bring girls home so his parents got him a girl (arranged). One day before the wedding, him and his fiance call it off. Months later he tells everyone he is engaged to a considerably older latina.
His father flipped out. I don't if it was the age or the ethnicity but it was bad.
Pinko liberals for namesake recoiled at the mention of a woman who may not be fertile (assumptions, her childbearing capacities were not out in the open. thank God), may die before their son and may not be as tame as they would have liked.
they are married now.
the liberals are okay. they have grandkids and all.
but just the long process must have been so hard on the couple. I would have cracked open under stress.
yeah. that is one story.

To your point, there are few types of people who love; people who love by choosing race, caste, religion, and then there are people who don't love at all (this is my fav! 😆) and finally you have people who love with out any boundaries (hard to find), but needless to say Love and Race go hand in hand.

A question I've pondered upon often:

Is it really 'Racist' to not want to marry into a different race/religion?

What is "Racist" to you, how would you define it?
